I would like to thank my news team for their efforts this year, since the news team was founded in the middle of July we have produced 123 articles (approximately 5 articles per week) not including news items by nirvAnA, Dox and various other members of the community. breadfan, Dingobloo, MezjE, Mox, Rogue, Switch and ZizLah are all responsible for this colossal effort. Now that the year has come to a close I would also like to thank all other staff/players for providing us with news topics to cover and above all you, the reader, without whom our content would be meaningless. The end of year magazine is without equal the most exciting part of any ending of the year. The magazine has been written by many members of the community and compiled by Cute to give the community a whole year wrap up. Awards are also handed out to committed members of the community and range from most improved clan, best caster, and best blog to favourite SC2SEA event of the Year, most underrated player and player of the year among many others. The 2012 Power Ranks was also released at the same time as this article. This year has been a huge year and many people are to thank for its huge success.

dingobloo - Undoubtedly one of the most deserving members for this reward. Since he joined the news team he has well exceeded expectations managing to roughly double the next highest poster in news articles. This sort of commitment is deserving of recognition and so it will be. Congratulations for achieving your Letters to Cleo award and I look forward to many more articles from you in this new year!

Quality Member Award:

Mox - is a university student from Adelaide who has been part of the news team since its inception. His alias originates from the 1999 American drama/sport film Varsity Blues whose main character's nickname is Mox. This is the reason that his portrait for the News Team is represented by a blue football jersey with the number 4 on it. This month he will receive the "Quality Member of the Month" award for his consistent work on the Roster Review.

Cute - While there were many people who contributed to the end of year magazine at the end of the day it was Cute's hard work which pulled it all together. Congratulations sir.

Zepph - This long time community member will be receiving an award for their recent casting guide. A high quality and valuable article for any new and upcoming caster. Find out more here.

OSFracTaL - joined us a few months ago on the 5th of October however only recently unburrowed from lurker stance to be extremely active in chatbox on a daily basis and write a amazing blog after a sea of terrible ones.
