I love watching StarCraft II. I spend a lot of time in the study with my headphones on listening, watching and taking notes. But the one thing I don't have when watching eSports is someone by my side that I can discuss the game with ad nauseum like I can with the AFL. (Carn the Blues!)

There is no doubt about it, eSports is taking off. So in order to get eSports happening in Australia, I am going to get BarCraft events in Melbourne happening. Initially this will be aimed at the larger StarCraft II tournaments such as the GSL, MLG, DreamHack and IPL. Hopefully this will also see local tournaments shown such as the ACLPro event in 2012 on the Gold Coast.
