all good. i was just disappointed it seemed that way.
actaully, i'll paste your bit into the OP so that there is mutliple optinons for people at diffierent times
Not my intention to hijack ur thread man... Just think its a great idea and I've enjoyed coaching my mates in games... My understanding of the game is, I think, pretty good.. just don't have the time to practice etc.. not yet anyway..
Thanks for adding to the OP.. just say I'm also available, its ChadMann.754
People can learn more from multiple eyes and different people see different things. If anyone wants help with their game, hit up Synzita - if he is busy.. I'm keen to help if you catch me online.

Reason: added more shizz..
I think this community owes people like Synizta and ChadMann a huge one; they're spending their free time (which they could very well have used for their own personal gains) to teach utter noobs (like meself) the intricacies of this easy-to-learn-yet-near-impossible-to-master game. They deserve a resounding round of applause, at the very least.
Heck, maybe soon enough we'll see the both of them plying their trade onto a lite version of sc2sea's Grandmaster Manual coaching?

Hahaha.. I can't see myself coaching for GM Manual (gotta be a GM for that..)
but thanks for the appreciation.. and the best part was watching you in game one.. utterly sucking.. then in the last games of the session.. actually learning from what we talked about and playing much better games.. If you can keep it up Gold is not far away for you mate. Enjoyed the session, till next time.. keep that macro flowing... and react to what you scout!..

gl hf..
I'll take this opportunity to vouch for the quality of coaching the two fine gentlemen here can provide.
As stated above, my first game against Chad was standard Wood League gameplay (non-existent army, laughable forcefield placement (that's right, only one forcefield), 2 forges with no upgrades queued; the works, basically). That's when Chad and Synizta started to constantly give me on-the-fly feedback, build recommendations, army compositions and so on.
I have learned much more in 2 hours with them than the past 2 months which I've used to gank the Bronze ladder. I am sure that many people will benefit from the training and assistance they will provide, which in turn will make this community a much better place to play in.

I think main thing is putting what is being told to you into action without the person talking to you, telling you should be doing. Like producing probes, putting down more production, etc.
Only achievable through skype. This coaching's better than the coaching you get from Masters players who aren't able to communicate on skype with you. By the time their instructions come through, you're already too late.

yeah.. for some reason I didn't set up Skype with EvilSWAT at the time.. in the early games I typed too him while watching a few pointers.. nothing drastic.. but between games we went into some deeper analysis - really I think Evil is a good learner and has some natural ability at the game... But as I said, I taught him about understanding what he can see from the scouting he makes - Terran with no gas - Fast expand.. things like that... Zerg taking more that 100 gas - its not going to be just lings.. things like that..
then after he learnt those elements, I worked with him as to what the right kind of reaction is and worked on his macro... During the practice session, he went from being a low league push over, to beating Gold league players (not me tho.. ahhahaha)
GG - I had loads of fun, specially when Synzita jumped on and help us with it also... So anyone that thinks they need a hand with their game, don't hesitate to PM Synzita or I or talk to us on B.Net (our details are on the OP)
gl hf.
I won't be avliable Thursday due to my participation in the BSGCL Allstars. also too Friday or Saturday to provide any sesions, due to real life commitments, so if anyone whos already showed intrest in coaching and havn't been able to a get a session yet, contact Chadmann for a session on either day this weekend, im pretty sure he's more then happy to do so
Turns out tonight (Thursday) ended up having some coaching done.
Would like to announce that thus far the coaching is going well and going strong, with basic openers, and some of the timings, etc,
Anyway, just backing up, Friday (tommrow) and PERHAPS saturday (Unlikely) I won't be taking anyone.
Just had a session with Synizta, it's my first ever coaching session by anyone, and it was good, can't say great cause I haven't had a serious one with him yet? Like I would play and he would guide etc. But for such an initiative whereby his doing it for free, it's super awesome and sweet. Chadmann was there to help as well, really great too so thanks for that Chad! Also met EvilSwat, a fellow Singaporean. :P
Great voice, although the accent was a little bit hard to grasp initially for a Singaporean like myself, but it was all good
Just going to practice hard and see where I go. I went into SC2 because of my competitive nature anyway (and there is a scene for it in Singapore? DotA as well, but I'm an individualist :X) but since I'm absolutely horrible now there's no saying where I'll go. Probably max silver/gold? :P /lowconfidence.
I'm a silver protoss and looking for some pointers - my main problem seems to be coordinating scouting and macroing. If I ignore scouting to work on macro I often get rolled by a rush or a bunch of counter/surprise units. On a different note, I think a player of his (diamond) caliber would be well suited to teaching bsg players because a GM might just look at one of our games and think 'where do I start?' ... ^^ thanks

sure man.. Add myself and Syn and we can help you out.. his details are on the OP and my bnet character is ChadMann with character code 754.
Hit me up if you need some help.. I practice alot with my team for the BSG CL so there are other players in the practice sessions often for you to practice your different match ups... if you want to join in with us - that would be fine..
But a usual session involves games with a bit of discussion before hand as to the players plan (privately, so they don't know what each other are doing.. lol) and then the observers have a chat about the game as it goes... like 'do you think that is a good idea?' 'should he push now?.. etc etc... and we all learn together.. of course there are usually some discussion after the game to talk about mistakes and what can be done to avoid them..

This sounds great, and like a lot of fun - without much of the pressure of the usual ranked slog. Thanks a lot !
Also, what time do you guys usually have a jam?.. and what time zone?

Reason: extra information
Thanks ToRSynizta for the tips. It characters like yourself that give the community a good image.
Have to say I didnt really perform to my potential (sooo much micro...ahhhhhhh) and was the first time I had ever played outside the ladder. Had me sweating bullets but loved the chance to get some feedback on my games.
2 thumbs up for giving your time up for us noobs. Will have to do it again when I have practiced a little more. Cheers
My time is still extremely limited currently.
When time avliable i will do some coaching, otherwise i will re-direct to Chadmann, as he's offered to help as well.
