I've lost my past 5 tvz games in a row its so frustrating. I mean most of the times they attacked when half my tanks were unsieged; and im not sure where/when to start leapfrogging with my tanks. If i take too long, they would have massed up an army way bigger then it was before. If i reinforce, they get cut off with mutas. TIPS PLEASE? Ive seen using 1rax expand, is that bad?

Have marine / tank one a universal hotkey and then have tanks hotkeyed separately, so you can make them hit banes first. Stim and run back with marines through your tankline, and then move back up, and if you have as many tanks as you claim you did, you should still have tanks there with Marines to mop up the remaining lings and mutas.
Are you keeping your tanks spread out? If you have a heap and they're spread out, they should take care of banes quickly, letting ur marines take on the lings and mutas before all your tanks are dead. Also check your replays and see whether the zerg was way ahead of you in econ, as I've been surprised to find out that if I go for a 1/1/1 build, by the time my 2 banshees get to his base, he'll already have nearly double the workers I do.
Before you move out with your main army have ~2 marines or 1-2 helions take xel'naga towers, make sure you have a few scans saved so that once you stat getting close to zerg's position you can scan a LITTLE bit ahead to see where the zerg is.
Having a few fast units OR banshee/viking/dropship moving ahead of your main army is a good way to give away your opponents position, once you see his/her units start siegeing, if you feel unsafe start siegeing and leap frog to zerg's base.
Learn to spread your stimmed marines around to minimise baneling damage, try and keep zerg OFF his/her 3rd if you can, take an aggresive 3rd and make it a planetary (xel'naga gold is a good example of that).
Invest in an extra factory with a reactor to get some blueflame helions in conjunction with your marine/tank/thor/whatever

Mm, very helpful thanks. But what if they have a lot of creep spread? Should i start leapfrogging earlier then normal?

Scan and kill creep and start siegeing up. That said, if the creep's halfway across the map, use hellions to run through and snipe a bunch a creep BEFORE you even push out.
