Following the success of TCL, the Taiwan community is hosting an individual event for the players of Asia, and 4 SEA teams have been invited to participate.

On top of these teams, 16 teams have been invited to submit players. For the first time in TCL history, Gama Bears, Wayi Spider, TtApollo and XpecIM have been invited, as well as Korean powerhouse, Prime.

As well as this, I have been asked to broadcast the games in English at my channel, www.twitch.tv/benjisc2

As there are 2 games per day, twice a week, I will do my best to broadcast games from the SEA players as a priority, however this may not always be the case. Also, in a change from TCL, I will be broadcasting on every day of the event, regardless of if there is a SEA player playing.

Format:
The first round is a GSL style group stage, where the top 2 from each group advance to a bracket stage

It's the Asian Starcraft League, Australia and NZ aren't part of Asia

My group is wizardstorm (protoss player), Xigua (The one and only), and TMjpg (a zerg thats 1300 point masters on NA). Yup, this is gonna be hard. Time for non stop korean ladder, I guess.

I'm aware of that, yet that is not my question... I'm just wondering how were these players selected. Did the admins of those clans/teams contact the ASL admins themselves, or... was it recommended by someone in SEA?

Infi, xG and Flash (with Rev) have all been invited to events in the past, and the Taiwan guys obviously like how we conduct ourselves and with the players and games we give to their viewers. ToT are obviously a Chinese clan, so I imagine that played a part in how they were invited.

I disagree, Wizard is quite a good player from what I have seen. A little gimmicky at times, but he wins games, and has done so for the better part of a year.

The admins are giving me the choice of which group I will cast (as 2 happen per night), I'll try pick groups with SEA players, but if you guys have any preference on which game is cast in English, please go ahead and post

Got TypePSiArc(T) , WE.GIGABYTE.Super(P) and am playing 向瑶iG.Xy(T) on TeSLGSLDaybreak, GSL Atlantis Spaceship and TeSLOhana. Should be interesting considering I have next to no pvt practice partners
