Yesterday, Saturday 8th of June, our own mGGAlpha (Ali) played in the ACL Melbourne open brackets. Not only did he manage to take a close 2-1 win over Nv.Pinder, but fell just one win short of placing into Sunday's Pro Bracket. Had he done so, he would have been one of only 3 protosses to do so. Congratulations to Alpha on such a strong showing. All that hard work has certainly been paying off.
Thanks guys for this thread.. just got home and tired and sign in and see this, brings a smile to my face and its great feeling this suuport even though i didnt make it into the pro bracket.
Keep an eye on this PezzaPerry guy (hope thats the right spelling) who knocked me out. I talked to him today when i was there spectating and he was saying his PvZ is his worse and yet he was owning up zergs left and right :P and his PvP so far that iv seen has been damn impressive. So good luck to him in the future.
Ben u will be glad (or it might bring back horific flashbacks) to hear that I beat at least 1 protoss with my nex first pvp build. and even though pvp is still my worst match up I won 2 of my 3 PvP Bo3's.

I did.. made some in one pvz late late game, one pvz skytoss build and one pvt
all three games being particularly epic and sexy as carriers tend to do.
