9.00PM AEDT :Team HoH
VS
ZeroCraft
Team HoH just received their first points last week and will be keen to take some more! - However the seemly unstoppable ZeroCraft will be ready for any challenge HoH throw at them. ZeroCraft seem to be carrying the momentum right through from the previous BSGCL win ..
9.00PM AEDT :QED Krrn and Co Pty Ltd
VS
Fusion Slugs
QED's Krrn and Co would of had their eyes on Fusion slugs last week, and have had plenty of time to practice and work out their line up. Can they continue their strong form against the new comers Fusion Slugs - who will be trying hard to bounce back after their white-wash defeat by ZeroCraft last week.

9.00PM AEDT :TA Edarus and Friends
VS
ToR ToRmentors
TA will be disappointed to not walk away from the win last week - and will be looking to perform well against ToR who might well be fielding their best team to take on one of the league favourites, TA. Should be a good match where strategy of player selection could be the difference between these two strong teams.
9.00PM AEDT :Perth Penguins
VS
FaDe
New comers Perth Penguins have already solidified their position in the league with strong performances already and will be up to the challenge against FaDe. FaDe will be looking to take more than just 1 point this week and end their run of draws!..
9.00PM AEDT :QED Mixed Lollies
VS
TCP Marinu Dropu
The strong QED Mixed Lollies team will be hoping to continue their performance of the series with a win against TCP this week after a clutch draw against TA. However, the under performing TCP will be determined to finally show why they are one of the leagues favourites and start their inevitable climb up the tournament ladder.
VB Sober Soldiers have a bye this week.
^^These guys will probably be enjoying a few cold ones while the rest of us practice and battle it out this week!

Hi All, I just got a message from Meatex saying that Perth Penguins want to play Set 3 on Friday at some time. Can you guys confirm as I will need to sort out my players.
@Perth Penguins - its extremely difficult to have a player on Friday - is it possible for you guys to have another player available for Thursday? I have seven players all available on Thursday but cannot make Friday at the moment.
This is week 4 of 11, the week where the leaders will start to accelerate and the clump in the middle of the pack within the 4-7 point range will begin.
I think the most interesting game this week will be QED Krrn and Co v Fusion Slugs. While fusion slugs are coming off a disasterous week last week, it must be noted they went 3-3 with Fade in week 1. We also know that Fade went 3-3 with QED Krrn & Co in week 2, so if the Fade team is the benchmark, Fusion slugs is definitely in with a chance against a team that many are picking to finish top 4 if not higher. And despite the scoreline last week vs Zerocraft, by all accounts all of the games were very close and evenly matched. I wouldnt count the Fusion SLugs out from winning this, and it would be a massive upset. The betting at the time of writing has 20 votes to QED Krrn, and 0 to Fusion slugs. I think these guys are really undervalued, espeically given they have both played the same team and had similar performances. even a draw against QED would be a good performance, showing the strength of the team
The betting clearly indicates what people think will be a close match this week. Perth Penguins and FaDe. The betting is split down the middle, and their position on the ladder is also pretty close. As for form coming into the competition, Fade has draws against QED Krrn and Co, Fusion Slugs and VB Sober soldiers. Wheras the Perth brotherhood has wins against Tor and HoH, and a tight 4-2 loss to QED Mixed Lollies. All in all, i like the Perth Penguins form coming in, and think they will out perform Fade in this one. I might be wrong though, 3 draws for fade means they have to start getting the big points soon, or be stuck in the middle of the pack permanently. However, i feel the edge still goes to the Perth Penguins, and that this match is theirs to lose.
Poor old TCP Marinu Dropu - they should be higher on the table than they are, and this week have probably the best team in the competition to go against. unfortunately i dont think that many teams will beat QED mixed sweets this season, and that TCP's scalp will be added to the QED backpack.

By looking at the SEABets and tallying the total votes for the teams across the season so-far (both teams get 1 vote for a draw vote) the "favorites" so-far are as follows:
1. TA - 62 Votes
2. QED Mixed Lollies - 55 Votes
3. Zerocraft - 47 Votes
4. FaDe & Perth Penguins - 41 Votes
6. QED Krrn and Co - 29 Votes
7. TCP - 26 Votes
8. ToR - 24 Votes
9. VB - 9 Votes
10. HoH - 5 Votes
11. Fusion Slugs - 4 Votes
I don't think I missed any but it still doesnt quite feel right... Take a look and any mistakes let me know!
(Just to give people an idea of where the voting is sitting, and yes I realise these "rankings" will fluctuate each week given what the match-ups are!)

Once a week a team has a bye though thats gonna distort the results

Yehbru I know, but as the season goes on the "clear favorite" (by votes) will become more... clear.... As (by the end of the season) all the games will have been played and the votes tallied.
Will be interesting to see how much the two (the results and the votes ranking) mirror each other.

Bear in mind, in this division especially, many bets are getting put in without lineups being posted. It's happened a few times where, when one 'stacked' (mostly plat/gold) team plays against a team with a lower average, say silver. The stacked team will give some lower guys a run, while the other team takes the opportunity to field the strongest lineup they're capable of.
