The sc2sea Bronze/Silver Open is here to give the lower skill spectrum of our BSG players an opportunity to test their mettle against players of similar skill in a tournament format. This also provides a good lead up to the widely known sc2sea BSG.

Date: Friday March 23th 2012.
Time: 8pm ; 5pm ; 10pm

Location: SEA Battlenet server
Restrictions:You must be in either Silver league or Bronze league (1v1, SEA license) to play. People who were previously Gold in seasons 1-5 are eligible to join the tournament, but if your play is found to be well above Bronze or Silver level, you will be disqualified and any prizes won will be voided.

• You must contact your opponent either via pm or the sc2seaopen chat channel.

• After the tournament start, you have 15 minutes to start your matches, if your opponent cannot be contacted after 10 minutes, he/she will be disqualified and a backup player will fill the spot. If a player cannot be found, you will advance into the next round.

• Casters, myself and tournament admins are always allowed to spectate games, and are the only permitted specators, no exceptions.
• You may switch races between the beginning of the tournament and the RO16. From the quarter finals onwards, switching of race is not permitted.
• Problems/Questions: Contact an admin for any questions or problems. If it is in-game related i.e: potential smurfing or hacking, contact us asap and upload your replay of your game for myself and casters to review.
• Post-Match report: report any results to me via PM
• Disconnects: If your opponent dc'es you must replay your match. If he dc'es a second time, you will be awarded a free win (1 game, not a whole series eg: semi-finals). A free win my also be awarded if your opponent was at a severe disadvantage at the time of disconnection. PM an admin if you're not sure.
• Pauses: you may pause during a game, with a maximum time of 5 minutes. You must let your opponent know that you're pausing, and excessive pausing will result in an instant DQ.
• Bad Manner: 1st instance will be a warning. Any further BM will be an instant disqualification. Any comments which are deemed by the admins as racist, hateful, or excessively derogatory will lead to an instant disqualification and a ban from future sc2sea opens hosted by myself. We're here to have fun, and it would be nice if we can keep it that way.
• Replays: should be saved until at least the next tournament. If an admin asks for a replay and you are not able to supply a copy, you may be banned from future events hosted by me and any prizes won voided.
• Hacking/Smurfing:This is purely for the entertainment of those competing and to give the Bronze/Silver players a chance for some decent practice against people of similar level. You must play on your own account. Anyone caught smurfing (using a bronze/silver account to play when your play level is well above this level) will be banned from future events hosted by myself, and have their details reported to the sc2seaBSG host and the BSG smurfers thread. For everyone's sake, grow a pair and l2play at your own level. Hacking (stream cheating in this instance is hacking) in any instance (maphack, production tab/observer hacks etc,) will not be tolerated. Anyone caught hacking will be banned from future events hosted by myself, and will most likely be banned from any sc2sea events in the foreseeable future. You have been warned.

About Me
I'm a top gold random player, who is currently versing (and beating) platnium players on 1v1 ladder. Recently on the NA 1v1 ladder, was placed in diamond 1v1 as protoss. As for achievements on SEA, i've won 3 BSG opens, and won sc2sea's first ever BSG Cup, where I donated the winnings to sc2sea, so that they can continue doing an awesome job. I'm here to help out the lower skill level of sc2 in the hopes that you all improve, and one of the ways that you can do so is with practice, and some of the best practice comes out of tournament experience. After the tournament if you would like me to review a replay of a match that you played, by all means email it to me at madmilk@hotmail.co.nz and i'll review the replay and get back to you. As I'm rather busy with work and my passion for music, I may not reply immediately. Just include in the email, your ingame name, race and why you would like me to review your replay.
