The swiss continues to improve the matchups, i expect almost every match this week to be close (with a couple of glaring exceptions caused by walkovers in earlier rounds)
with abyssal and tal darim both in the list this week and next, i imagine most protosses won't be happy. fortunately for them they have CK as map 3. most of the protosses in contention for the finals have PvP this week anyway.
this week will also see the top ranked BSG player awarded the coaching session prize.
player who look to be in contention:
(name-score-tie break score)
AsGNabi-2-2
Khyron-1-2
sandhippo-1-2
InvaderZim-1-2
criven-1-2
Paulsgay-1-2
bigtwinkie-1-2
i don't know if it's mathematically possible for Nabi to fall behind, but i think it's possible kice may pass the prize on to 2nd place.
Match to watch: Scalaz vs MVP, both had solid performances last week and will be going into this week very confident.

HAHAHA look at those maps! Of course the 3 least popular maps in the pool would show up together in one of the rounds! Hahaha...
Hopefully we see a lot of 'unique' and 'classic style' games
Most of the people who regularly no-show are matched against others who do the same thing, which is nice.
Match to watch: Nomad vs Frustration - The match which will finally give us an outright leader. Undone vs MVP should also be a good match, but the top of the table PvP (on Tal darim! ) is what i'm excited about.
RFLan#42 rematches:
Goosejuice vs CHoBo (2-1 CHoBo @ RFLan)

the 2nd last week! there are 7 matches i'm looking forward to watching
I believe if Nomad wins this week his TB score is enough to guarantee him the 1st place finish even if he loses next week, but we will see.
Match to watch: Frustration vs Why - I pick this over Nomad's match because i get the impression that goosjuice hasn't been practicing much lately. Also Frustration's late game focussed PvZ is fun to watch.

- The final week of regular season! seemed like way less than 2 months to me.
- The order of the finalists will be known after this week, with the koth format every position counts!
- Since Nomad's already crushed everyone at the top of the table, to secure 1st place he only has to beat NovaD, the dark horse who's only losses come from getting walked over while on vacation. Even if he loses Nomad still finishes 2nd.
- Goose and Frustration have also secured their top 4 finishes, they are playing for a top 2 finish, while the loser will get 3rd unless armi wins
- Armi, NovaD, Head, RichocheT, Why and Gubna are all on 5 wins so far. 3 will win this week and make the finals, 3 won't.
- Scalaz, Nabi and Apathetic are all sitting on 4.5 wins, and will be chasing victories to be the first reserves called upon if someone who does qualify can't attend the finals.
- I believe that if Scalaz defeats Gubna, and NovaD loses to Nomad; then Scalaz will scrape into 6th with 5.5 wins and tie break ahead of Apathetic (and Nabi if she defeats Kice)
Match to watch: Frustration vs Goose - If I was one to learn from history I would just pick Nomad's match, but RvP is my fravourite match up While frustration is the clear favourite, protosses do complain about all 3 of the maps for this round AND vsing random makes choosing openings especially hard for protoss, that might be enough to give goose the edge even if he is still having lag issues
