Hey sea peeps!

I'm incredibly new to the sc2 scene and so I have no idea with whats in the works and was just wondering if there are any Sydney lans happening in the near future?

With sc2 exploding like it is in the US / EU I was hoping to see some upcoming events in Australia. Granted the player pool is obviously a lot smaller but I still feel it could produce some great results.

There is the comon gaming cafe eastwood tourney in about a month and a charity event one in the city, just keep your eye on the tournament forum (top left there <----) i put the links below for you but just keep checkin that one ull see them from time to time !!

Yeah what clock said! To know about lan tournaments just get in the habit of checking sc2sea.com. Theres also online tournaments u can play from home, such as the community open every wednesday and various other tourneys for players of all skill levels just check this site. If u wanna play in heappsss of online tournaments or more regularly, you can go on the NA server and there are like 3-4 tourneys most days, usually findable on the TL tourney tracker: http://www.teamliquid.net/tournaments/

Though they often arent on here till 1-4 days before the actual tournament, so dont check a period and think theres nothing on a week or 2 ahead of time.

From memory (and I'm sure some of the Sydney folk will correct me) but there should be a LAN event running this Sunday (13/03/11) which will have some big names from the SEA region attending.

I'm just hoping Melbourne gets a few regular events going

Thanks a lot guys, hopefully will be able to make it to the common gaming cafe LAN. Even though I'm just a noob it sounds like a load of fun, especially with a few drinks afterwards!

Since these are hosted at lan cafe's is it customary to lug your pc there or are the ones at the cafe available for use?
