If the above balance changes go through, could 2 base hydra all ins work. Logic being hits way before storm/collosus, and since the decreased gas cost, it could hit with 1-1/2-1 or something.

TLR 2 base ling/hydra(maybe upgrades) viable as an all in?

I've seen this when I play and it never worked once, I doubt it'd work with the Hydra cost buff.

Force Fields good unit. + They'd likely have Colossus tech by then anyway.

2 base Ling/Hydra is probably not going to do much. But a three base 2/2 timing - stephano roach style but with hydra's then switch to muta is going to be good!

Maybe something like just a forward nydus build so you can skip speed and get range to (somewhat) ignore forcefields. But idk.

Not on 2-base, but 3 base for sure. Hydra/Ling pressure against a toss with a greedy 3rd is already a super viable strategy. With Hydra's gas cost being reduced, I can definitely see some all-in variations of this emerging.

A few times I was playing a greedy 2 base toss who delayed robo until 7 mins. I would rock up with 2 base +1 ranged hydras and snipe front before collo could get out. Only worked against FFE, and probably only worked cos he was bad.
