I have recently joined as a terran for StarCraft 2 and is new to builds. I have heard of 1/1/1, 1 rax FE etc from streams before, and hence I looked up for such build orders online. I downloaded an app from google playstore "Starcraft2Buildorders" and saw the different types of builds, but some reviews said that they are outdated.
Anyone knows of an app with builds that are frequently updated by liquidpedia strat? I only have one PC and cant tab during builds to see what to do next.
Secondly, I dont quite understand how does the strat work
For example in Reactor Hellion Expand,
10 supply
12 barrack
13 refinery
15 orbital
15 marine(1) queue marine(2)
18 factory
20 reactor on barracks
21 command center
@100% factory switch factory to reactor
Make 2 hellions
after the 18 factory do we still continuously produce marines? or just leave it at 2. To jump from 18-20 = 2SCVs or 1SCV + 1 Marine
and after the 2 hellions, should I continue making them or
24 - Tech Lab @ Barrack +Stimpack or build Starport to medivac or tech lab @ factory for seige tanks.
write the build on a notepad or something and practise it against computers a couple of times. I find it helps alot when learning new strats. ^^
Regarding the build, after you put the reactor on the factory, I think what you do is simply build a tech lab on the barracks you've just lifted and start stim. Usually as the supply numbers increase for the build order, it typically means it includes all sorts of production such as SCVs and Marines unless it specifies otherwise. Other than just following the build order, you should look at a couple of replays where people have done the build in higher levels and see their followups etc... this will probably answer most of your questions
I don't have a second monitor either, so I either write it on the notepad of my ipod or then go old fashioned piece of paper. When I was first learning to play Terran I played about 30 custom games vs AI. After I felt confident with knowing the build and when to build what I played against my friends, then onto ladder. Goodluck

There was a nifty tool lying around on TL.nets tools section, it puts a overlay over your game, showing you the build order. I suggest you check it out
Edit: Its totally external to the SC2 Client so you won't get banned for it.
The problem with getting builds down like this is that they don't allow for any discrepancies in play (your opponent might 10 pool you, for example, which would change your build drastically as you now have to deal with a lot of aggression).
On top of this at your level, you don't really have to concern yourself with specific timings. Developing mechanically should be your key priority. For example, improving your mouse accuracy, multitasking and your use of hotkeys, camera hotkeys and control groups all comes before this kind of stuff.
A final note is that the build you have listed here is only really appropriate for low level games. It is a by-product of the pro meta game months back, before the patch which buffed the queen and overlord. These days, as you work your way up the ladder, it is generally acceptable to take your expasion, (and I always drop it on the low ground) before your factory, and with decent simcities, you can hold it comfortably.
So the bottomline: don't really obsess over these timings. There are more important things to worry about, and timings change quite quicky as the pros innovate.
See the problem I've seen from rigid build orders is they have to wiggle-room. But if you understand why the build orders work, it helps so much more. Things like having 50-52+ scvs at 10 minutes and moving out; then as stim or +1 finishes you are walking up to their front door with +1 MMM. Watching someone like Taeja for example, he will do a "build order" but it is rarely the same as the time before it. I've started to understand a build as making the timings instead of at what supply I need to get my 2nd gas. FILTERSC on youtube has a great tutorial list on this. He goes from bronze to masters and up until plat or diamond, he barely micros, he wins by straight up having a better economy and the timings he makes. hope that helps
