I have a few different names I wouldn't mind, and I still have my one free name change available to use. I'm just wondering if there is any way to check if anyone else has already used any of the names I would like to eventually use myself.

You can look it up on sc2ranks.com, but keep in mind that even if someone has used the same name you are still allowed to also choose it. Your character code makes your character 'unique' for the purposes of battle.net.

The only reason it should matter is if you want to be say the only one on the server with a name for whatever reason.
