Why PokerStrategy?

eSports and Poker have always had a unique relationship, with many top StarCraft 2 players throughout the world being great poker players as well. With similar skill sets required in both games, many top sc2 players find themselves doing extremely well in poker as well. PokerStrategy.com believes that poker allows many aspiring eSports stars today to pursue dreams by providing them with financial freedom.
Team Eve would like to thank PokerStrategy.com for giving the team this chance to take their game to new heights. With PokerStrategy.com behind us, Team Eve would like to give back to the community as well as the Esports scene. Plans are already underway for Team Eve to host various events in the near future with the intention of bringing the SEA scene to new heights!

So what does Team Eve and PokerStrategy have in store for the SEA Scene?

After years of lurking on sc2sea, we want to give back to the community!
In the upcoming months we will be working with Poker Strategy to bring tournaments with a large prize pool (~1000USD in prizes monthly generously sponsored by Poker Strategy). In addition to this we will be organizing show matches between some famous international players against some of the best in SEA. Do stay tuned for updates regarding tournament details and sign ups.

Team Eve has recently acquired two of SEA’s leading caster talents, in the form of System and Stitch. As Team Eve plans to drive events and Esports on the SEA scene, we could not have hoped for better individuals to add that finishing touch to our future endeavors.

Our biggest dedication lies with StarCraft, as this is where Dominik Korn Kofert has his roots and used to be one of the best players in the world.
