Hi guys, I have a problem that's been stumping me for a few weeks now, so I figured that there's nothing to lose by asking here (as my isp is useless, suprise suprise)

So! About a month ago, I moved onto student accomodation. Everything was awesome. I got the internet connected (I have to use the schools shitty provider), and for a week, it was awesome. Fast speeds, low ping, the works.

After a period of time, my roomate and I found ourselves disconnecting. A lot. The net was essentially unusable for two weeks as we couldn't stay connected for more than a few minutes at a time. Eventually, I was told that the port in my room would be disconnected as my computer was causing this problem.

Strangely enough this seemed to be the problem. A week later they reconnected my connection and told me to use a laptop. Everything is fine again. But as soon as I plug my pc in, I get dc'd, and autobanned from the network until I call them and they reconnect me. Apparently my pc floods the network, but they don't know anything more.

So, any ideas what's going on here? I just wanna play sc2
