Hey guys,

I'm just wondering if I'm the only one getting this. (the below has been happening since the most recent patch release)

Game starts I split workers and every now and then throughout the game I will get a 2-3 second pause then unpause (causing things to speed back up for the next second (think pause then fast forward) it is really evil and it makes things so difficult to Micro and has lost me games.

What I've tried?

- I've checked internet connection and found no issues yet I power cycled my modem.
- Reinstalled SC2
- Updated my most recent Graphics drivers (GTX 260)

So is anyone else getting this problem? if they are how did they fix it?

Posting your ISP and connection type would be very beneficial.

I haven't played today, but NA has been perfectly fine for me since patch. I'm with TPG.

Sounds like it could be a problem on your end

ISP Internode
Connection: ADSL2+

I would recomend turning your graphics down to low and seeing if this helps with the problem. Doesn't sound like that is the problem but alot of frame lag can appear similar to internet lag.

I expect that s*** from Optus, but the idea of internode lagging hurts my brain..

yeah I've tried low settings and medium to high and it makes no dif hmm really not too sure what it might be maybe I should check through to see what processes are being used, maybe I have a virus or something. strange all I ever do is play and watch streams -__

It could be your CPU. If there's a broken pin, it would pause for a few seconds when it reaches that pin, and then it resumes and repeats the cycle. I dont know all the technical words / jargon :{

I'm getting the same problem. I'll have a go at playing offline against the AI a bit later, so if it keeps doing it then I know it's not the internet.

Strange it may be I believe the issues may have been with sound I changed it from default (i also noticed that the music would stop (in game) from time to time which may explain the issue, and it seems to not be there now I will need to test it more over the coming days to see if that is the fix.
