So I finally got sick of all these Zergs taking early thirds against my gasless opener. This made me think "what can I do to counter their early third base." I can't attack with slow roaches because speedlings good unit, I can't attack with slowlings because speedlings good unit.

That is when I realised the key word there is "speedlings" not slow lings, speedlings. So after this Zerg scouts my gasless opener with his overlord I decide I may as well try it.


What is it I’m trying exactly? A delayed speed bane all in! Boy am I smart…

Shortly after my opponents overlord gets out of vision range of my gases I throw down double gas.

I then proceed to build a couple more drones while waiting for my gas count to rise. This is where I “purposely” lose 2 drones to 2 zerglings.

As soon as I can afford metabolic boost I research it and the same goes for my baneling nest.

It’s at this point I already have started massing zerglings and continue to do so until zergling speed finishes researching. I cleverly send my queens out to kill his overlord to make it look like a standard gasless opener.

As soon as zergling speed finishes I move out with my 56 zerglings to go attack my unsuspecting and not as smart opponent.

I reach his base to find only a small number of zerglings and no banelings.

I then proceed to win and laugh at my opponent. He also could not help but laugh at how much I outsmarted him.

This is where he realises he has lost and he leaves the game. This makes me feel even smarter because I realise he couldn't even find “g” on the keyboard to type “gg”.

This build is possibly the smartest build to ever be invented it might even surpass the cleverness behind the 6 pool!

The Build Order:
15 hatch
16 Pool
17 Overlord
19 x2 queens
25 x2 Gas (or as soon as his overlord leaves the vision of your vespine gysers)
Drone to 25 drones
4:26 lose to drones smartly to 2 lings (this is to make him think he is winning… It's all about the mind games!!!)
Then as soon as you have 25 drones you start to mass lings.
100 gas = metabolic boost
50 gas = baneling nest
6:50 attack overlord with 2 queens to make it look like a standard gasless opener
Move out as soon as metabolic boost finishes researching
Get to their base make a few banes while running in with your lings.
Proceed to laugh as they realise they were outsmarted by you.

Weaknesses:
This build has no weaknesses as it is so clever and unpredictable that no opponent could ever think that this could be coming their way. No player could possibly prepare for this.

Advantages:
This build has many advantages. The first one being you get to feel superior in every to your opponent after successfully pulling of the build. The second is that you get to laugh at all the Zergs tears that are produced by the other player. Thirdly you get to win every ZvZ where you do a gasless opener. My success rate with this build is 100% after a total of 1 game(s)!!!

I hope this helps all Zergs who are getting annoyed at opponents taking a fast third base against your gasless opener.

Tried it vs quick 3 hatch and won, confirmed still 100% win rate after a total of 2 games!!!!!!

That is where you have to make 10 lings and dance them in front of their lings or queens. That will make them think that they're winning and that you're not taking the game seriously. This leaves them even more unprepared for what you're about to do.
