Awesome tournament, awesome sponsor in Pokerstrategy. I think they're really smart in sponsoring RTS as a lot of the best SC2 players are poker pros or at least find it to be a very interesting game. Just off the top of my head: Mafia, Strafe, Bielsko, YoonYJ have all played professional poker and won significant prizemoney. I know a bunch of other players that are really good without having ever gone pro! I love having a $20 buyin with mates as I'm sure many sc2 fans do. Obviously being the sponsor of the last TSL they are a seriously cool organisation.
Some advice from Dot is that Flamga and Stitch had very different styles of commentary. Flamga is a bit more laid-back whilst Stitch is extremely excited and "OMG!" the entire cast. She said that this was actually probly you guys strong point (I agree). Its nice to have 2 casters that have very polarized roles it creates interest not just in the game but also in the ways of viewing what is going on. What you guys could work on though is not talking over each other. Husky used to have alot of trouble with this but has improved drammatically.
I know some casters actually discuss how to know when one caster should stop and let the other start up. Alternatively maybe if you're both just conscious to try to figure out what you're thinking before you say it and just generally casting together more and get to know each other. Play some 2v2s or something so you guys can get to know each other personally a little and then the professional chemistry will flow alot better!
As for the running of the tournament... My only advice would be choose a less cold day lol! It was freezing cold strong winds coming through all day in Sydney and it was hell trying to keep my room warm so my hands didn't freeze without turning it into a muggy hellhole.
Obviously something you guys cant fix! :P Honestly though it ran pretty smooth. There was some waiting but with any tournament you can't avoid that. Most of all I'm impressed by the profesionalism you guys put in with your preparation and was impressed with the stream quality. You should ask Gunrun to get you a quality-choice thing on the stream though so people with slow connections can tune in.
Gunna go experiment with my $50 poker credit now!
Edit: Re-read it and wanted to emphasize that the excitement Stitch brings is friggin awesome and I think it's something SEA really needs more of!
