I strongly doubt that. Typically SEA only gets 1 seed for IEM events and we have a qualifier for it. Sometimes there's issues regarding travel difficulties and in that case it would be fine for the iM player to take it but if iM takes precedence over running a qualifier that would be some bullshit.

I hope that is never the case.
This x1,000 - there are several teams that would send a player provided they won the qualifier.
@xGKingiaguz - No spots are taken at all. They do however look to partners in order to fill gaps if players from any region cannot attend. They generally try and fill with a team or player from that region however this is not always the case. ESL/IEM have always worked this way, for every game they run. I'd say the odds are a little smaller as it's very easy getting 1 or 2 players overseas, it's more an issue when talking 5 man squads.
@TAdeL - Herbz has been taking a break. He's now back on deck and ready to go.
Speaking from personal experience and previous involvement in the iM camp I can tell you this is the best opportunity anyone from SEA will get in regards of support and being given the chance to go overseas for sc2 to improve your skills. Sent1nel is a man of his word and my time was easily the best out of my gaming career in terms of support received/trips given/gear etc... I'd be jumping at this chance if i were you guys!
May sound like a massive bias opinion here and blowing the iM trumpet, but i was part of pretty much every gaming 'dynasty' in australia and iM is a head above everyone else by a massive margin
Great to see a very well established programing team finally come surface to create a squad! Always heard of Team IM, famous for supporting GLaDe! I'd love to see some top players from SEA become successful with such a solid team.
Awesome news!
When you say practice alongside Code S players... does that mean you guys will support them living in KR to practice in a team house or something?
It was only a matter of time until Team Immunity decided to really break into the SC2 scene. It wouldn't be a suprise to see some big names from other teams jump ship.
This is very exciting as I think IM definitley has what it takes to take the lead for SC2 in SEA.

Yes we have good relationships with many International teams and the practice will take place at a house with Code S players. Good bad or indifferent I was the one who arranged for StarTale Ace to come and compete at the NRG SC2 competition. We will cover the travel expenses primarily however will be open to negotiation with regards to fixed living expenses.
We are primarily looking for Australian players however anyone from SEA can apply - however the players outside of Australia would be looked upon to fill the higher tier positions rather than the up and coming.
Thanks for the well wishes guys, good to see you around Miles.
