I'm happy with my Razer Megalodon and can recommend it - it is very comfy and has a nice clear sound. The ear foam is covered with fabric rather than plastic which has a nice soft feeling but does make it harder to clean. The volume controller is dead simple and practical to use and you can switch easily between stereo and surround sound as needed. If you have other Razer stuff it is cool because you will have matching colour's on your desk (if you care about stuff like this). The microphone seems to work fine for Skype etc - no complaints regarding sound quality from my mum. It does require a USB port though - something to bear in mind. Not the cheapest item either.
