The finals are PvZ and you prolly have the best Protoss and the best Zerg in the world facing off. So you could ask, how long is a piece of string? It should be an epic final and worth every minute of game play.
mate and I will be sporting our (vintage) hwaseung oz jackets!
so torn, DRG is my favorite zerg, but had to bet on genius (such good odds + momentum + protoss is a good race).
I wonder what the stats are on %of protoss players that bet on drg/% of zerg players that bet on genius because they think the matchup favours the other race :P
The night kicked off for me at around 6:30ish when me and some mates arrived. It was already starting to get packed. Fortunately we spotted some space between the 'stage' and the front row, and so we asked the guys if they minded us sitting un front of them. They said it was cool, we grabbed some beers, and so started an epic night.
There were a few mishaps, with the speakers being far too soft at the start, the screen lagging a couplea times, and the venue being a bit packed. But all were sorted out by rezyn8 promptly, or at least as well as they could be. Mad props to him for organising a BEAST of a night, and to Mayo for the prizes from the raffle. guys.
was Really fun, could've used more screens or something, was tough to see from alot of places, and the line at the bar moved REALLY slow,
but you couldnt have possibly predicted such a funking awesome turnout, which was the source of all those issues, props man, great job!

Yeah I felt sorry for those people behind the bar, they got put under the heat bigtime lol. No way they could of known, they'll now know for the next one
About 350 people turned up to support eSports and StarCraft 2.
Thank you to all of you who turned up despite the bad weather - you made it one hell of a BarCraft! Thank you!
Stay tuned for more announcements on siliconsports.net & facebook.com/siliconsports teamliquid.net and here on sc2sea.com for upcoming BarCrafts in Melbourne!

Do you happen to be the guy with the blue TL shirt? I was sitting on the floor pretty close to you then :P
Thanks rezyn8 for organising this! Can't wait for the next one

Yessir, that was me Though my mate sitting two spots to my right had a blue TL shirt on too, and I saw some others there as well . Some day9 and other TL Swarm/Spirit shirts too, such a greaaaaat night
Very successful event, place was packed! 300-350 amazing. Awesome work by rezyn!
Good to see some familiar faces and watch the games in good company. XanT, SlowHands, Deth, Dox, ToRNicknack, rezyn and others. Was too hard to get around and see who else was there.
Bumped into Mayo wearing a stylish Thermaltake Jacket at the train station on the way. Small world.
Not sure the venue is the best for future events. Would need more screens and space, the pylons in the room block some viewing angels, etc. Food was good. Venue were no doubt thrilled with the turnout.
Had some awesome fun, I hope you guys enjoyed my prize give-away (even if I wasn't audible ). Props to USA Foods for giving away vouchers too, I'm jelly (Want Junior Mints!).
I turned up a little early to help setup but the bar was already packed!
I think this one bar should be fine, as long as we can get more space and TV's imo (and more staff haha).
Was awesome. Discovered I'm way shorter than I thought, couldn't see shit.
Had to have a shower as soon as I got home to wash the nerd sweat off me - SO FKN HOT and it SMELLED ><
Apart from that, awesome ^_^
I met some really nice people - a girl I met in the bathroom (are you on SC2SEA? We should have exchanged RealIDs!), we were talking to two really attractive girls about SC2 who were just there for their boyfriends? Most hilarious conversation.

No, really, did you meet her?! She was short, wore glasses, she was there with a bunch of male friends. She was standing near me when the games were on. She was nice, I think we were on a level, man.
