Sure. They just need to spend a few thousand dollars for the plane ticket to Europe/USA as well as food & accommodation there, and heck, all this just to enter a competition that they may or may not win. Surely if they want it that badly, what's a measly $3000++, aye?

What an idiotic response...
People who are not from Korea who go to those events, it still costs them several thousand $ depending on where they are. It's not all about Korea. Koreans need to get over it.

Edit: The more I think about what you said, the more stupid I think you are. Jesus Christ... That's the entire point of giving people spots in GSL.
God you're an idiot. Words cannot truly express your stupidity.

Yes people can qualify in other ways doesn't change how deserving they are though. You're like blatantly trying to attack the Koreans, then when people try and explain what they're saying you attack them instead. Tell me why isn't puma in code s, you explain to me why and until then the Koreans are right.

This is exactly the argument on both sides only $3000 is cheep compared to a month in Korea to get into Code A. Although with the code changes you can go from code A to winning code S in a single season it still a very steep road.
I get the feeling from the responses from Korea, they know how hard it is to get into a Code A and then Code S spot but they do not understand how expensive it is from other nations to do so. Clearly they dislike the idea of a shortcut into the GSL and given some past results I am inclined to agree with them a lot how ever there has to be a short cut in else there is no realistic way in for a non Korean living player. They would then say get a gaming house based in Korea but that is not practical due to the becoming good enough via winning outside comps then disappearing into code B to maybe come out in code A just isnt value for money for the international teams. This is the one thing that needs to be explaned to code A and apparently so code S players. The difference between training hard and attending the code B lan vs Training hard relocating for a month to get up with the meta game of Korea for the code B lan then going home refinancing so it can happen again.

As far as Nani how much longer would it have taken to play out a 4 gate then GG when it failed. SC2 is a competitive form of entertainment if your not entertaining and your not competing do you really have a right to be playing the match. Perhaps it would have been better for Gom to just not have the match but they are producing a TV show they require content the same as every other sports based show. The idea of a gentleman agreement to not play the match it should be discussed with the refs input Im sure if he had done so they would have said the rules say you have to play every game to the best of your ability to provide us with content. It gives people a reason to play the game out above and beyond their personal agenda.

On other matters raised in the tread I like the idea of 1 or 2 foreign placements in code A or placement in an up and down match specially now the format has been changed where you can go straight from code A into code S. This would mean they didnt get a free ride into code S they at least had to play one of the people whos position would not be up for grabs that season due to it being given to another tournament results. Well still giving them a chance to do well in Code S and justify staying in Korea longer term. The issue of Koreans see foreigners getting a "free ride" into their competition is a problem of perception and so can and should be explained.

I fully agree with foreigners being placed into Code A / Placement Match at best.

I love how he began with trying to present a 'valid' point in his eyes, and then slowly his posts derailed the thread until he was personally assaulting anyone who made a valid point in the discussion or as a response. People like this have no place in any community, let alone a tight-knit one such as ours and I am glad to see him gone. SC2SEA Fighting!

On topic:
I believe that Naniwa should have had the respect for himself and his team to play through the game in a high scale tournament in which he was selected to play in based on his skills as a player. His lack of enthusiasm about the final game perhaps enforces the fact that he is not entirely ready to be a professional of his 'art' and has yet to learn how to control his emotions if he wants to compete with the best of the best. On the other hand, I think the response to his game was a complete overreaction, however it is completely understandable in my eyes.

ROFL. Get the **** out and hit puberty you stupid kid.

Something I forgot to mention before, but someone also did mention was that it is infact a "GLOBAL" league, not KSL... GSL.
Stupid people are stupid.

Puberty was hit a long time ago for me, which is one of the reasons I am mature enough to realise that your actions are not only unnecessary, but also unwanted in this community. The fact that you use abuse to try and fuel hatred in a generally easygoing community is disgusting, and quite frankly you need to have a think about what you're doing and grow up. I'm sure the admins will rid us of your presence, but I doubt that will teach you anything.

Enjoy your ban.
