I'm usually not a fan of adding in new units, but all those seem pretty cool and serve a purpose. Could definitely lead to some interesting strategies! Those last couple of video's explaining reasoning and game footage were really encouraging.
However i don't think the Viper's hook spell should be able to work on massive units, eg Collosi and that new mega thor...
Well strength of units can't be said at the moment, cos they arent fully completed. Otherwise, there will be too many OP units... ie the amount of dmg that the new hellions can tank... or how fast the Tempest kills mutas... and how fast teh shredders kill anything

Drop hacks, gotta watch out for dem Drop hacks.
I'm so disappointed and sad, tempest blows and sucks major huge enormous black one (or two), and carrier is the pinnacle of protoss army, HOW CAN YOU TAKE IT OUT? FUUUUUU
Replicant looks ok, but it's robo tech, which I hate. Every fkn game is already robo tech, where is stargate and TC buff? So mad.
I'm very disappointed about mothership, mass cloak is too good, my 10 min cloaked 3rd is gone now. At least I get mass recall...o wait, now I have to waste a gazillion of Nexus energy on recalls instead of properly boosting stargates. Macro nexi anyone?
Oracle is fine, much better than I thought. I already want voidray+oracle vs zerg. Now, spores won't help, and yall will need to spam queens and block supply. One piece of good news for me.
I'm seriously considering switching race. Oh wait, warhound looks too ugly. Like Stallone, who suddenly lost all weight. The whole terran is like GDI from Tiberian Sun now. Lot's of walking shit.

The new units from Protoss and Zerg look so powerful , on the other hand Terran's new units seems so-so , although we have a transformer in the unit now !! XD XD
I assume you will update the OP but just in case, you have a protoss and zerg short section and then mention thors in the protoss bit, and no terran section.
ah well the clips / pictures show it all anyway, blizzcon is cool as and HOTS looks really fun.
Don't really mind the Hook spell, if it works like Pudge's hook then chances are you're either hooking the unit away from the battle (i.e. to the sides) or your gonna hook a usless unit.
Let's take it versus a colo/gateway ball for example, the colo should be behind the gateway ball because of it's higher range, therefore if you want to hook them into your main army, which is facing the gateway ball, you would most likely hook a useless zealot or stalker.
Otherwise you would hook the colo from the side of the battle, giving you a clearer shot at it but useless you've split some forces off from your main army the colo should still survive for a while. Depending on range and such it may even still be able to participate in the main battle.
Lastly if the gateway ball is surrounding the colo like they usually do (which is why fungal is so good) you can't hook the valuable colo, pending a mistake from the protoss.
It shouldn't work like a Pudge hook because that would reduce the micro-specific aspect and bring on this different element of timing-shots which so far has not been a mechanic emphasized by Blizz (e.g. having EMPs or Fungal Growth be a projectile-based or slight delay instead of instant cast)
Also SC2 has just way too many units, it's not like WC3 where the average # of units is much smaller. If it worked like the Pudge hook it wouldn't be really viable (for the reasons that you've already mentioned)
Then again, if it worked like everyone thinks, it does seem abit OP
I'm pretty sure abduct (hook) is just a targetted spell. Click on the target unit, and like with all other sc2 spells, if the unit is not in range he will try to move into range to cast the spell. Depending on the range of abduct when used against colossus and siege tanks, it will probably be difficult to do without getting your viper sniped, so it doesn't sound like it will be too unstoppable.
Replicant is such a joke unit. Counter enemy infestors by replicating them? What sort of balance bullshit is this... They really ARE out of ideas, aren't they?
The oracle apparently costs 200 gas and the replicant is going to cost 200/200. Does this seem gas heavy, esp considering all the other gas heavy units that need to be made? I wonder if some new maps should be designed to be more flexible with respect to gas access (e.g. 3 geysers in the base or whatever)?

Arc Shield
Cost: 25 Energy
Effect: Place an anti-light cannon on top of any structure for a brief period of time.
Recall
Cost: 75 Energy
Effect: Transports selected units to target Nexus
New Units
Replicant
Built from: Robotics Facility
Cost: 200/200
Oracle
Built From: Stargate
Cost: 150/200
Phase Shift – Target structure is phased out of existence for a brief period of time. During this time, it can't be attacked, use abilities, provide power or tech. Massive structures (Command Centers, Hatcheries, Nexus, etc.) are immune.
Preordain – Placed on a target enemy structure to gain vision of what it is producing.
Entomb – Prevents mining from target Mineral patch for 45 seconds. Can also be used to remove Entomb from patches of your own.
Transforming Hellion
Hellions can now transform into a slower, stronger assault mode. Hellions sacrifice their mobility and get 45 extra hitpoints from the transformation, and get no additional damage. The transformation doesn't require an upgrade, and only takes a few seconds to complete.
Warhound
Built From: Factory (Requires Tech Lab and Armory)
Warhound is a beefy mech unit with a powerful GtA attack and a formidable GtG attack with bonus damage to mechanical units as well. It has 240 hitpoints
Shredder
Built From: Factory (Requires Tech Lab)
20 damage per second to nearby enemy units. Nearby friendly units deactivate it completely.
Thor
Built From: Factory (Requires Tech Lab, Armory and Fusion Core)
It has 800 HP, does insane amounts of damage (60×2 GtG), and has an AoE spell that does up to 200 damage over 12 seconds, with bonus damage to buildings.
Battlecruiser
The BC has a new ability as well, which gives it a brief speed boost. With the ability activated, Battlecruisers can really move quickly, which will allow them to retreat or engage better than before.
Viper
Requires: Lair
Cost: 100/200
It is a flying spellcaster unlocked at Lair that essentially replaces the Overseer with three spells.
Ocular Parasite (50 Energy): Turns target unit into a Detector (Massive Units are immune). Although Zergs will no longer have the snap Detection of the Overseer, Ocular Parasite will allow detection to be much more flexible. Assign it to an Overlord, Queen, or basically whatever unit you want.
Binding Cloud (75 Energy): Casts a cloud that reduces all enemy units under it to melee attack range, and prevents spells from being cast under it. Lasts for 10 seconds.
Abduct (100 Energy): Pull target unit to the Viper. It will allow Zerg players to pull high-prority targets like Collosi, Immortals and Siege Tanks into the middle of a ruthless swarm. It could also be used to save high-priority targets like Broodlords, Infestors and Ultralisks from an unfavorable position.
The Swarm Host is a very powerful siege-esque unit. While Burrowed, the Swarm Host spawns two Locusts every 25 seconds. Locusts are very powerful melee warriors that have 110 hitpoints and deal 14 damage per attack
Burrow Charge
This is an upgrade to the Ultralisk, which allows it to move very quicky while burrowed to a target location, unburrow, and knock surrounding units back with a small amount of AoE damage dealt. This ability doesn't requre any research, and will make Ultralisks much better at closing the gap on lategame enemy armies. The ability has a 30 second cooldown.
Tunneling Claws
This Hive-tech upgrade at the Baneling Nest allows Banelings to move while burrowed.
Siphon
This is a new ability for the Corrupter. It does damage to buildings over time, and in return gives the Zerg player 10 Minerals over 10 seconds for the damage dealt.
