Terran is so powerful with 1:1:1 build, as protoss what can i do about it? See other people are having problems with it on sc2 armory and at http://gamewipe.com/2011/09/pvt-and-the-111/
Any suggestions? I have been playing sc2 for 5 months btw, and protoss 4 of them!

You would receive a much better response to your question if you did these things next time:
1. It's your first post, so why not introduce yourself a little better, even if it is only gaming wise. Are you playing on SEA/NA/KR/EU? What league are you in?
2. What have YOU tried against 111? Letting us know that you have done a little more research than acknowledging others' difficulties makes people want to help you!
3. Have you got a specific replay for us to look at? Replays are the easiest thing for someone to browse over and tell you what to change.

What you can do about it ? Here some suggestions:
Change the title of your thread by "I have hard time countering the 1-1-1, could I have some help please"
Read this thread that has the same subject : http://www.sc2sea.com/showthread.php?t=2064 and has veeeery good info from top players about that exact same subject. You have been lazy not to check the forum first before making a new thread.
If you still want more insight, post a replay there : http://www.sc2sea.com/showthread.php?t=202, we will analyse it. Make sure to post your own analyze ot it with it (and your league).

It is widely known that 1-1-1 is a painful build for protoss to handle. But there are ways to deal with it, especially at a non-pro level, as the build won't be 100% perfect.
The main thing you want to do is keep stalling the terran army out before they get to your base, and forcing PDD early if they have a raven. This way you can get enough units by the time they get to your doorstep.
One base fast HT+chargelot works wonders, especially if you feedback incoming banshee like a boss. Problem is - it doesn't work against anything else. If you are 100% sure opp will go 1-1-1, try it, otherwise work on 1-gate expo into over 9000 units.

The main thing you want to do is cut probes and get as much zealot/sentry/immortal out as possible after an expansion. If you try to force a pdd early you're just going to waste units and since you only want 4-5 stalkers, it's not useful in the slightest.
haha anyway, you have you scout.
with your initial probe scout, you'll see something like rax, with 1 gas taken before the marine pushes you out of the base. one or two minutes later, send the probe close to the ramp to scout the front, and pull it back as soon as it gets hit by marines (it doesn't matter if the probe dies, but try to keep it alive).
If you see a bunker, with a few marines, it's most likely going to be the 1-1-1 (although it could be something like 2port banshee or hellion drops). Since he has a bunker, it's obvious that he isn't planning to attack any time in the near future, so take an expansion.
This should be 1gate -> expansion, or 1gate -> robo -> expansion. if you already have 3 gates and/or a robo, it's probably too late to expand so just pump out units off one base.
Then, as said above, eventually cut probes and add on gateways until you have 5 gates and a robo, get zealots 4-5 sentries immortals, use observers to spot when he moves out and try to engage while he's unsieged.
if you see a marauder, reaper, or a tech lab barracks with your secondary scouting, it's not going to be the 1-1-1 so just play normally.
Not sure on how to beat it, but I can tell you how to spot it easily. Most 1-1-1 builds make a single hellion for scouting with before adding a tech lab to their factory. They use the hellion to check for an expo, your gateway count, gas cout, any starports or other tech. So look out for the hellion, and if you can deny its scouting you will put him in a more defensive posture (i.e. he may not expand till he feels safe from a 1base allin).
Super early 3 gate pressure is also quite good, especially if you can delay the rax or bunker at all with a probe. Often a 3gate hits when I have 3 marines in a bunker, the reactor on my rax has only just finished and a siege tank is still 47 seconds away! Not sure if that's just my dodgy timing (quite new to terran), but it might work for you!
I still don't get why I don't want to learn this build, even after tons of posts saying how even top top pros struggle holding this off. But I think you should give it a bit more time for people to maybe find out how to hold this off(correct me if I'm wrong but for now there's only ways to barely hold it off but it doesn't put you equal or ahead of the Terran).

usually after you hold it off you can just go win,
thats just my experience. Esp if you went for fast expo to hold it off, you should be quite ahead and can just keep warping in units and finish the game there and then

Your timings are odd, 3-gate comes no faster than 4 gate, just with 1(2, depending on style) more stalker to begin with. And T should have more than 3 marines and 1 hellion. Afair 1-st banshee pops some 15-20 seconds into ramp brawl.

Only done it 5 or so times, better work on nailing down the build! =)
