IGN eSports don't have the manpower and don't want to make the huge investment to make a KRTW qualifier - not to mention difficulties with language, they'd have to hire a translator

I don't think anything fishy went on. IGN hears about MC playing in some tournament on SEA server so they approach the organizers because they want MC in IPL because MC = more views (also sen to a lesser extent)
IGN don't know anything about SEA and don't care either. They don't realise that none of the other players represent the top of SEA as they aren't actually interested. Korean players (especially MC) gets viewers while SEA players do not

If u take a look at the PPSL page, there are other foreigners other than MC and Inca. IIRC Sen also qualified from a previous qualifier. IMO if you want to call this the IGN Sea qualifier, then you shld make it a SEA only qualifier. Im sure we have plenty of exciting hidden talent on the SEA roster, this could have been a chance for us to show that SEA is mcuh better than what some other ppl suggest.

Whats the point of having any qualifiers at all if u allow top Koreans/Pros to participate in a REGIONAL qualification? I can Imagine the Koreans hogging all the spots if the rest of the IGN qualifiers operates like PPSL.

Here's what happend so far and what SC2SEA most likely missed
- PPSL is originally planned to be a huge PH SC2 LAN tournament with $3500 in the prize pool.
- Top PH players (eXo.Enderr, eXo.BLaZeR, Mski.JaBiTo, Mski.Rye, Mski.WaningMoon, Mski.Fate, Pobbes, AZK.def, AZK.noobs, AZK.ziek, Cube.Tantanix, Cube.Payaso, Cube.Dione) managed to qualify and secure their slots.
- At the 2nd qualifier tournament, Sen joined and qualified for PPSL.
- At the 3rd qualifier tournament, French SC2 player, cArn made it through as well.
- For the 4th qualifier, AZK invited both MC and InCa (originally NaDa was invited). Only MC made it through. (I am proud to say that Mski.Chakra aka theDUDE was able to snipe InCa)
- IGN announced their partnership with AZK to make PPSL a qualifier of IPL4 and have 2 AZK players participate in IPL3.

So there you have it. Hope that helped.

I lead Team AZK and i never ever stated that "we" were/was the best of SEA. You must have misunderstood.
