There will be showmatches as well between Top Players (in the SEA Region) and those from the Philippines

Rules:

+ Show +

1.Each player must only use one race throughout the tournament.

2.At the end of the game, the replay has to be saved by designated Game Marshall.

Abuse and Exploitation


o Pause Abuse:

From the start of the game, pausing without any valid reason is disallowed and will merit a warning from the player.

o Bug Exploitation

Exploitation of any known or newly discovered bug during the match will result in the immediate disqualification of the team. Excuses will not be entertained. Not knowing the bug is not an excuse; competitors are expected to know the current bugs.

Intentional Disconnections

o Any competitor/s found to have intentionally disconnected from the game will get themselves a loss for that match

Unintentional Disconnections / System Crashes/ Fatal Error

o If any competitors are disconnected within 5 minutes after the game start the game will be restarted given there has been no player-opponent contact.
o If any competitors are disconnected after player-contact, organizers will decide on how to continue after reviewing the replay.

Late/ Tardiness

o Any team that is late for 15 minutes for whatever reason will automatically get a game loss in that specific match.

7. One account can only be used by one player during the entire event.

8. Every player must set themselves as busy during matches.

9. Players may not use 3rd party add-ons.

10. It is the player’s responsibility to check the map for each of their matches.


o If a player protests an incorrect map after playing a game on it, the game will not be replayed.

11. Players are obliged to report their wins by sending the replay file to the organizer’s e-mail address.


Penalties

o Warning: A Marshal may give this as the game goes on. If 3 warnings are accumulated by the player he will automatically lose that match.

o Game Loss: Game loss given to a player means that the player will automatically lose the game irrelevantly of the actual match result if such took place (such as getting late)

o Disqualifications: A player disqualification will lead to the player being ejected from the tournament. They will not be allowed to participate in the current event.

11am to 12pm – Opening ceremonies and briefing
12pm to 3pm – Round of 64
3pm to 6pm – Round of 32
6pm-6:30pm - Break
6:30pm-7:30pm - Semi-finals
7:30pm-8:30pm - Finals
8:30pm-9:00pm - Awarding Ceremonies and Photo Ops

Local players will be physically gracing the local event (wherein those from other countries will be pitted against).

It is an ONLINE event for you folks and a LAN event for players here in the PH.

Technically we would still need to connect to Battle.Net to play; What i meant by LAN was that local players would "gather" at the event to play there.
