Thought i should give attention to the upcoming lan tournaments in the SEA/ANZ region. Three of these are very big with an insane prize pool.

25th June (Sydney) - WCG Qualifier - Over $20,000 in product and prizes to be won across all games.

The first WCG qualifier is at CityHunter Chatswood, Burwood and Chinatwon, and we are flying a huge 56 people up across all the games to the National Finals at the EB Expo on the Gold Coast, and giving away more than $20 000 in prizes and cash to participants and spectators.

Date: June 25 (sorry for reschedule), 2011 - 10am opening/warmup/setting up/registration etc, 11am start time. You're more than welcome to come before hand to get some extra practice in, I'll be there from early in the morning.
Location: Arena Internet Cafe, 264-268 Rundle Street, Adelaide SA 5000 (in between Al Fresco and Piatto)
Entry fee: $15 (spectating is free of course)

The tournament will be a double elimination bracket, with all matches being Best of 3 and the Grand Final being Best of 5.
We will also be raffling off other items throughout the day, so those who were knocked out early are still able to win some prizes!

Prizes
1st place: $200
2nd place: $100
3rd place: Choice of Tt headset, keyboard or mouse+mousepad.

This years ReloadedLAN in Adelaide, South Australia will feature Starcraft 2. Depending on the amount of players entered it will be a single or double elimination (best of 3) format tournament. Prizes for the winners are yet to be determined.

There will be both 1v1 and 2v2 competition. 2v2 will be held Saturday morning followed by 1v1 in the evening.

Many other competitions will be run during the event. More information on other games can be found on the ReloadedLAN website

Hmmm I know there is the Barracks in the city but I swear there was one called the bunker at some point ;( maybe it's a different state I am thinking of, or maybe it shut down since I went to school there.
