I finally got access

for those that just got access keep in mind to update settings as they don't carry over from HotS (including hotkeys). The main option i see is to enable enemy unit selection so you can click on the enemies units and figure out how much of what is left.

I had a painful first game where i couldn't select his units and my hotkeys were all out of wack.

Looks like the Beta will close within the week

I missed a lot of the Beta while overseas, but have been giving it a good over the last week and a bit, playing random. It's very different to the verson before i left! Can't wait until full release - under 2 weeks

Beta has closed.

Blizzard advise to uninstall as the Beta files wont be the same ones as retail LOTV release, and will save you some hard drive space!

The beta was pretty disappointing, although it lasted longer than usual, good players didn't switch over till pretty late. They never made any big changes like they promised and I think the game is in a worse start than when Hots started. That being said we won't know anything about how the game will play out until the best get their hands on it so I am not too disappointed at the meta atm.
I am still disappointed that they were still too scared to make any real changes, the econ changes were a complete cop out and just showed they had no idea what they were doing or where they wanted to go with it, every unit is just a band aid fix to a problem we had in hots. I really don't like the way they approach making the game and so the beta was a complete flop for me.
