Hello all, I recently joined this site with the intention to find a good group of people who are willing to help me learn and grow, I just bought my own version of the game just today as I was previously using a friends copy. I play terran, I'm yet to do my "placement" games but I do think I'll be a bronze level player, I am looking to play mech as well. i would suggest joining either 1 of the following clan, also talk to 1 of these ppl if u want to 1 of these clans
IXL - runamok
TOR - arnor
MGG -probe (maybe)
ODDIE - mashmellow
AXS - soul/eddie

well i have mashmello, runamok and soul as friend or on skype, aslo u can find eddie anywhere, as for tor and mgg, u will have to find them on your own if u want

if your looking for the bigges sea clan, should join oddie, but the Ateam u would have to bug to get some help from, since we dont play on sea

I'm not after the biggest, I am after a place that will help me grow into a solid player. Also I am playing on the American server as the South East Asia server has a lot of lag from my current "home"

I can assure you that mGG is still quite active on sea, kr and na. Points of contact are Nemesis, Alpha or myself. Other highly active community based clans (ie not super competitive clans but more focused on enjoyment and learning) other solid clans that have been active for a while and built a strong reputation through this site are ToR, ETL, IXL, AxS. If you look up the top left of the site, you can see everyone's logos that will take you to their home pages and usually they will also have a recruitment form to fill out so that they can get in contact with you.

This is not the exhaustive list of clans on sea obviously, but if they are there they have house clan status which essentially means that the community overall has recognised them as respectful and trustworthy.

I find it disturbing that a person such as OddieWhite who has been seen often in the sc2sea chats to be poorly informed or know so little about mGG, especially since a good number of members are active there as well (and wear the tag as part of their names).

Yes is definitely still very much alive.

On most of our clan activities, we have monthly updates that keeps the community updated on what we had been doing. This link will direct you to most of them : http://www.sc2sea.com/view_clanmgghome.htm
We also aim to have at least one set of clanwars for the various levels each month. Our latest being :
(vs NairX)
(vs AxS)
(vs eQ)

Our most recent in-house event which included TCP members and a good number of non-mGG members was the GMC2

We have also been acknowledged as Best Clan in this thread, nominated along with ToR, a clan we highly respect as well.

Many of our members are currently involved in the ongoing BSGPD SEA TL.

You can also find at least 10 mGG members in the #dedication thread.

While playing on SEA, I have met various Oddie members. I have also been told that there is a 'recruiter' in our public community channel who approaches both our members or just members of the public to join Oddie.

With this much information, I hope that you (and other mistaken persons) have been enlightened.
