Hey everyone, Duxxie here founder of Phoenix e-sports. We are a new SC2 team but have played competitive on xbox for almost 3 months now. We are looking for more people to join our SC2 clan.
All applications will be taken seriously and everyone will get a trial, in saying this not everyone will get accepted into the team. We aim to have 4-5 players from each rank and these players need to be active and play in regular tournaments. As an organisation we can help with entry fees into tournaments and contribute to travel and accommodation. We will also be having fort nightly (once every two weeks) in house tournaments with $20-$50 prizes for each tournament.

Yeah we have a organisation wide one but im going to set up a SC2 one will make it easier. Also will make a chat channel on SC2.

I have a few questions.
1. Where do your get funding from? Any sponsors or is it just funded by management?
2. Do you intend to provide Entrance fees to all of your players or just the Grandmaster/Master players?
3. Will you send players to national events to play in open brackets or would the have to qualify for group stages first? (assuming the format is the same next year)
4. It is very common for players to be in both teams and clans your team structure includes many lower league players in a clan like organization, will you allow your players to be in a clan as well as your team?

Answering Bandit and Spooks questions
1. We are sponsored by Next Designs and are currently searching for more sponsors. They fund us along with some management funding.
2. I cant see why other players don't deserve some funding, we will fund people depending on the amount of our players at the event ex. if there is 1 player we will fully fund him ex2. if there is 10 players we will partly fund all of them.
3. With national events we will pay for fees and flights as much as we can but they are quite expensive, we will only pay for Open bracket players if they have a chance of finishing highly.
4. I didn't really understand this question at all can you please rephrase it?
Bandits question. We applied to become a 'house' clan on this website. If that goes ahead we will use that if not our sponsors Next Designs have already said they will create one.

Your team structure is very odd in the fact that it has lower league players, more like a clan structure. Many players are in both clans and teams for example rossi is in TA and Nv. is that the case here or will players not be allowed to be in both you team and their clan?

I think i understand the question now, This clan/team is being run in a way were all different players have a chance to play and compete at a level they want to, so if a top player wants to go play international we will do all we can to get them there. If another player just wants to train with top players and play in a online event every so often we can support that also.
I don't see the difference between a 'Team' and a 'Clan' but i would prefer the players to play for Phoenix e-sports and only that.

basically, in starcraft terms:

clan: group of friends who play/practice/whatever together

team: pays players to represent them and play for them

eh idk it seems a little different you dont have to be in ToR to be in Av.ToR and you can be in a team whilst in ToR

It feels similar in some ways to the mGG set up, which is really cool! I have always liked how their sponsors contribute to some more of the community aspects, such as tournaments and events coming from the mGG community, (Something which ToR is going to be experiencing after 5 days ^^).

Think about it this way we are a 'Team' which is giving a team like opportunity to players of all skill levels while having a clan type atmosphere were people can train with each other and help each other out.We would prefer people to only be in Phoenix e-sports but we realise a lot of people are in other clans at the moment and want to stay in them because of friendships and having that easy way to find matches. Which is fine
