I currently live in this house, am a causal gamer, uni student who also works, also brothers with Ali, and it is a freaking awesome house. I do not drive yet I am able to get wherever I need to go because public transport is extremely accessible with trains being literally 3 houses down and across the road, you do not hear any noise despite living on the main road and near a train station, also 15 min walk from indro shopping centre, but main thing is that it is awesome living here and there is more then enough room for this if it goes though. And if it is allowed with council.
So keen for this if it actually goes though. Will actually get into SC2 more :P
how open are you towards 'drifters' I guess, I'd *maybe* be keen to have a look at this as a short term thing, defo not to live as I have other commitments, but depending on who else goes in, I would be keen to try it for a month or so~

umm unsure yet. like I said we will probs be having having people coming for a week or 2, where instead of paying rent I will figure out a nightly fee or something. But as for time frames of a month or so, I think ill have to decided that one once its up and running. hard to tell with out being able to see the space that will be left over and all that
Oh my god! That has is absolutely amazing and to think it could be used as a gaming house gives me nerd chills. I live in Brisbane so if I'm able to support myself I will definitely make the move into your proposed gaming house.
You could also possibly look towards getting sponsors to help support it if for example you have a team staying there, or if you get it up and running and demonstrate how much work you're putting in to help Australian eSports. Large companies would be CRAZY not to get behind it.

Problem with this would be that the sponsors would require some form of advertising for their money. So their logo while streaming for example. But then you will have to get permission from the player's other sponsors for this to happen. Gonna be really difficult in reality.
The only other way that I can think of to give them their exposure would be to have it independent of the people in the house. So for example, they would get exposure from a HSC-type tourney if that turned out to be viable, and maybe something like a weekly blog for the house and that kinda thing. Would be difficult to accomplish I think.

A HSC like event, as people are saying, would really promote esports in Australia.
If it got some coverage on TL as a legit tournament with some international players (with SEA players ofc, or even just SEA) that would be the coolest thing everrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
