I have been really interested in eSports for around 2-3 years and have watched almost every major SC2 event/video on the production and financial side of eSports I can get my hands on. Now that I am in my final year of school I plan too take a gap year before uni to make a gaming house.
From this gaming house I plan too make a doco about the growth of the 'team' and obviously get much better as players. After getting decent numbers for people aged 18-24 whom are genuinely interested and could bring in a source of income/way to contribute to costs I wish to contact professionally teams and eSports organisations to seek sponsorships etc. This is my ultimate dream and have been saving for around 2 years at KFC in order to fund some of it, believe me it is hard work!
If you are really interested or know somebody shoot me a message! I would also love to hear about tips or facts anyone has about making a house, cheap places to rent and if anyone has a clue on electricity bills etc let me know
Cheers!

Reason: Corrections >:D
A gaming house is something I am interested in setting up and help to get working, both from a company perspective (Tt eSPORTS) and also a personal perspective (living in the house, managing players etc).

whoa thats a big statement there mayo!! TTeSports house!!!
You're not the only one that's been interested in something like this for quite some time . Since SC2's release I've been thinking of the same thing! Now that high school is over and I have my gap year, I have all the time in the world (when I'm not working )
I would imagine that you should be eligible for some some decent tax benefits because running the house (rent, consumables) would be for business use. I'd get some good advice on this sort of thing beforehand rather than trying to work it out after the fact.
Yeah I might have a room in my house opening up in not too long, wonder if I could find a pro or semi-pro sc2 player that wants to live in a cheap house and train together a bit hmmmm..

I am not sure what time frame we would be looking at really finalising stuff but it is only 6 months away to estimated move in date so if you are a Masters-GM player deadset on a career in eSports let me know! I am willing to pour my heart and soul in to this.
