I suggest playing one race first; if you enjoy terran mechanics and micro, play terran. Make sure you understand your build inside out; start with figuring out what (macro) opener to use with each matchup. Play only one style for each matchup (e.g. MMM, marinetank, hellionthor, marinebanshee) for a while, you'd have more success compared to continuously switching styles. You only need to worry playing multiple styles when you're a pro and you become predictable to everyone.
