new question: if someone is invited to play for the A team of a state (del is choosing the teams is the plan?) does that exclude them from playing for the B team if they aren't selected to play in a particular week?

Just a suggestion.

Maybe it'd make it a little bit more interesting if a captain was picked from each state, and they then choose a team of players to represent that state.

Or is Del going to be choosing the teams?

As mentioned this won't be opened to international teams because of historical and thematic reasons, but likewise it's not going to be a regular event. It's a bit of a one-off or special event and not a long series so the SEA and NZ guys aren't missing out on too much. They could even be inspired to start their own - I know Malaysia and Singapore have a bit of a rivalry I am sure there's something there that could be started!

Oh yeah that's something I forgot to mention - if your state isn't represented because of a lack of competitiveness I will allow you to join the B-Team and I am sure there's room in the BSG / PD teams! There's a bit of extra room to add a team or two in the B-Team competition because there's no playoffs.
