There were good times, and there were bad times. My team stuck through it. They gave it all in their team leagues, pouring there little heart out, only to lose 1-2. Again and again.

Your Mates was an idea. A concept. It was almost the lifeblood of me. A pretty accurate representation. Let's have a look at the starting players

aPpRovaLBiTe:
My terran player. This guy.. this guy right here won 5 rounds of his first ever tournament, and gave me hope for this game. He made it to the round of 16, and had limitless potential ahead of him. At the steady age of 23, he put all of that aside and focused on his real life goals. He retired. It was a shock to me. This was the message:

Your player aPprovaLBiTe has decided to retire. His contract is now terminated.

LIqUIDsuDdeN
Liquid'Sudden.. picked up for his exceptional starting stats and for his obviously popular name, Sudden has been doing the best of my team since the departure of aPpRovalBiTe. Sudden has reached the round of 32 on multiple occasions with his powerhouse ZvZ, but that was all Sudden could do. He was the anchor of the team until high purchases, but his use has now run out.

The captain. The nobility of my team. He shares my ID, but with 3's instead (the reason he was captain). 3dg3 was an overachiever - he did not have exceptional stats, but he was able to make it past the round of 128 in tournaments where he was completely outmatched.. and he still gave it his all and on one occasion he made the round of 64.

ShameAnGry
The darkhorse of my starting 4 players. ShameAngry was always hard to train - he would perform better than the best players, and then worse than the worst players. ShameAngry had some exceptional sniping skills in team leagues - and also managing to take a game off of deL's player in a best of 7 (deL > me in short.) I hope ShameAnGry can find a new team to flourish in.

middletree.. oh middletree.. if ever there was a bigger mistake of a 24-hour bid of $10 it was this guy. Me being the man i am would obviously believe in teamwork. This guy had ounces of it. I was young and foolish, and this was my first acquisition. Nope. I said 'you're gone middletree', but then the termination would have bankrupted me. Thankyou middletree, for the 1 game you win in a tourney once. Fuckhead

IslaNDsOUnD
My first major acquisition. IslandSound was bought into Your Mates with some of the hopes and dreams of the captain 3dg3. They would become practice partners, and IslandSound was immediately welcomed into the team by bringing the results in his first tournament. He made the round of 16 of said tournament, but the results from then diminished. He was a team-play anchor, going 5-1 in teamplay, but his lackluster performances in the LegoLand starleague left alot to be desired. You gave it all IslandSound, but you sucked.

My best player. With the words of [TA]LoSt reading '**** **** that dudes gonna go for fuckin $500' i took swift action. The man i was bidding against - obviously an inferior man - would increase betting by 10. The betting for Addition went from 230, to 240, to 250. Suddenly, i went balls out. Five.. Hundred.. a day. AdditionAfter was mine, but he would NEED to pay off. He did not. He was great - he would win 3 rounds every tourney, he would perform solidly in practice and in team games. He was great. He wasn't a star. The acquisition of AdditionAfter has lead me to Bankruptcy. He was a good man, but he did not thrive in my team. I hope he can find a team such as BroodWar to be nurtured in.

ThinSoup
Thought it would be funny to start bidding for ThinSoup, because of his name. $10 and ThinSoup was mine. ThinSoup won a game vs avanar hilariously enough, but other than that his win record of 1-11 was not appealing. Hope you can flip burgers well mate.

Goodbye, and goodluck to all of my players. You were apart of something special. Your Mates is no more.
