The weekly SC2SEA BSG is a 64 player, single elimination style tournament.

Date: Saturday December 7th 2013.
Time: 8pm Sydney time ;
7 December 2013 8:00 PM AEDT

Location: SEA Battle.net region.
Tournament Eligibility: You must be in the Bronze, Silver or Gold league (1v1 - SEA license) and you must be active on ladder.
Everyone will be checked for typical smurf activity designed to keep them in a lower league.
Battle.net group channel: "sc2seaBSG"

Rules
  • You must contact your opponent on Battle.net preferably by being in chat channel "sc2seaBSG" to play your match
  • You have ~15 minutes to start your Round 1 match; anybody that is not contactable after 10 minutes will be disqualified. This 10 minute timeout rule applies throughout the tournament.
  • You must play your main 1v1 ladder race throughout tournament.
  • Observers: Tournament admins or official streamers are always allowed and the only ones to observe your game
  • Problems/Questions: When in doubt about anything, contact an admin
  • Reporting Results: After the match has been played, you must report the result by pm to an admin
  • Disconnects: If a player disconnects, use the 'Resume from Replay' feature to continue the game. If the player has gone offline completely, inform an admin and wait 10 minutes for them to return.
  • Pauses: You must notify your opponent in game if you wish to pause. This pause should not exceed 5 minutes. Excessive pausing in game may lead to disqualification.
  • Bad Manner will not be tolerated. Anyone caught BMing will be warned. Further offenses will lead to disqualification. Any racist, hateful or excessively derogatory language may lead to removal without warning. We are a friendly group and we'd like to see it stay that way.
  • Replays: Should be saved at least until the following tournament. Anyone asked by admins to provide a replay who cannot do so will be disqualified.
  • Anyone suspected of smurfing (playing another person's account, manipulating ladder to be in a lower league) will be thoroughly investigated and if found guilty, prizes will be stripped and they will be reported to Blizzard and added to the Hall of Shame.
  • RANDOM players are not allowed to race pick unless an Admin has been informed a WEEK before for SELECTED matchups.

    EXAMPLE 1 - Player A vs Player B - Player A did not inform an Admin and race picks. DISQUALIFIED
    EXAMPLE 2 - Player A vs Player B - Player A informed an Admin and race picks. PLAY ON

    If you ladder a specific race but because of Unranked 1v1s and Ranked/Unranked Teams you are now placed as RANDOM, inform an Admin at once. Having you sc2sea account filled with the correct information will make this process easier.

Finals bo5/3 on Bel'Shir Vestige LE

For finals rounds that are best of 3 or 5, loser of previous game may pick any map from the following list. Maps may be repeated as many times as players wish.

    The Brackets are generated at 8 pm AEDT on the night of the compition. Those brackets are then posted here once we press start tournament in our admin panel and then those brackets will be linked into the sc2seaBSG group chat at 8:01pm AEDT

    KatY. The fact that I'm not good at the game and didn't respond properly to your immortal all in has absolutely nothing to do with why you were disqualified. You broke numerous rules and in no way represent the fairness and fun that these tournaments are about.

    At Katy this is the point i am DQing you on It has nothing to do with Zigs play or yours i will be reviewing the replay also but on this point is the reason why you are DQ -

    "With a new season, it means we have had to take a step back and reflect what had happened. In a bid to curb players who join but are considered inactive by whatever standards everyone has decided to setup themselves, we are introducing a minimum games played requirement to join the BSGs now.

    This week's requirement is 30 (THIRTY) games."

    To add to that "You must be legitimately in the Bronze, Silver or Gold league (1v1 - SEA license) and you must be active on ladder."

    I am sorry that this has annoyed you but i am mearly going by the rules. If you were an active member of the community and i mean like God Teir Active like Asrathiel use to be ( Queen of BSG) then i would have been more lenient but since your new and i dont know you at all then i will judge you like i will judge everyone else.

    I am sorry again but these are the rules and i bid you farewell and have a good day !

    I think Dodda is better, actually. MC has a very strong TvZ , but I think it's only because of the current metagame. Dodda very good. You are God, First two tourneys you enter of BSG you win both. WOW amazing
