According to Blizzard, the next patch will be released on SEA on the 27th of Feb, however the NA patch will be live on the 21st.
This is important as if you log onto NA with your client after the 21st but before the 27th, you will update your game and be unable to play on SEA for those 6 days.
I mention this as I can just imagine players updating their clients, messing up our ability to play SEACL, SEACC as well as other SEA events over the next week, which is something perfectly avoidable.
If you use a separate client (such as a Taiwan or Korean client) you are fine to update that one when the patch is live on those servers. This only really matters for the SEA/NA client as both servers are accessed from the 1 client through the region button on the login page.
^^Yeah PTR did not go up at all, I been trying to get into my troll account client, but it says ptr is down. ....And why do we get the patch later? no fair! I wants my protoss op-ness fast .
I thought Jinro actually posted on here for a second. T_T

So the patch is now out on NA. As Dox has said, if you want to play on both servers this week you will need to make a copy of your 1.4.2 SEA client and patch only one to 1.4.3. However, it is made a little more tricky by the fact the updater launches automatically if the last selected region is NA.
To overcome this, you can either remember to switch it back to SEA before you quit your NA client or edit the following registry key:
If you installed your StarCraft II to a different folder from the default Program Files folder, you will need to edit this file. Otherwise, you don't need to do anything.
and get rid of the 'x' to enable the override and change the path to where you installed it. For example, if you installed it to c:\Games\SC2, you would change the line to
Code:
set SC2=c:\Games\SC2
Copy SC2.bat
Run this first before you patch anything. It will create a copy of your StarCraft II folder to remain unpatched called 'StarCraft II (SEA)'. Requires a little over 11 GB based on my install. Come the 27th, just delete this new folder.
This may require you to Run As Administrator if you have UAC enabled since it will need to write to the Program Files directory.
StarCraft II (NA).bat
Sets the registry key to 'us' and runs from the original folder. Run this when you want to play on NA.
StarCraft II (SEA).bat
Sets the registry key to 'sg' and runs from the copied folder. Run this when you want to play on SEA.
Remember not to use the in-game region changer to NA, otherwise it will start patching this copy when you login. Quit and run the other file instead. If you do it by accident, just quit the patcher as soon as it loads.
