Keyboard: Cheap dell keyboard - soon to be a mech keyboard, just being too indecisive bout what to get.
Mouse: Razer deathadder
Headphones: Sennheiser eh1430. Not the best sennheisers, but the only headphones I can wear for long stretches because my ears hurt easily.
Mousepad: plain old empty space on my desk
for all the people that want to get a mechanical keyboard try out steelseries 6gv2/7g and Filco keyboards, dont be swayed by the glossy/shiny blackwidow! those keyboards are meant to last for a long time, the glossyness/shinyness gets old and dirty quick! while simplistic looking keyboards like the ss/filco ones will keep staying looking awesome!
dude, you should totally try a filco, i asked the guy at tecdrome in simlim if he'd pay 50 bucks more for a filco compared to the cool looking razer, he said yes. and honestly, some people say cherry MX blacks are better for gaming, but blues are just fine
I'm using a Tt eSPORTS MEKA G1 atm. I disliked the Cherry Blue switches as they wer very click-clacky and annoying.
The MEKA G1's keys made more of a soft 'thud' and you still get the awesome feel.
I always said I wouldnt replace my old trusty G15 until it died, but I tried out the MEKA G1 and I fell in love .
I use a Razer Tarauntula keyboard, a Microsoft Intelli Explorer 3.0 Mouse and a Razer Goliath speed version mousepad and a razer carachias head set.
The microsoft intelli mouse is by far the best quality and comfortable mouse that I have ever used. And it is cheaper than all your fancy G5's etc.
As for the keyboard I really wasted money on the razer, I don't use it to it's full potential and the rubber pads that stop it sliding detached very early after buying it.
The mouse pad is awesome, it's huge which is great as you never risk sliding off, only thing is after months of use the edges start peeling up. It would be good if they could put a seal on the edge to prevent this from happening.
The headset is a bit average, sound quality is what you'd expect from a $100 gaming headset. For my head it falls off a lot haha, so yea for me not so great, but at the moment I don't have enough cash to buy a new set.
I've used a LOT of mousepads, func 1080, Steelpad S&S, Some oldschool razer, steelpad Qck and a steelpad 5l.
Obviously it's personal preference but I still swear by the steelpad 5l. If you get the chance to try/buy then i highly reccomend! They are/were expensive. I'm not sure if they are still being made or are out of stock(the website says unavailable).
Among the top branded mechanical keyboards i don't feel like there is too much difference. I have a 6gv2 and i've tried 2 other leopolds. Basically it's just switch preference imo.
Mouse: Logi G9x gripless woot
mousepad: currently using wacom bamboo as a mousepad :/ its pretty much like floating on air, but usually mantis control
keyboard: sidewinder x6 but looking at that majestouch ninja tenkeyless browns - awesome
mic: zalman clipon stickytaped onto a cheap mic with a bendy neck with foam stickytaped onto the mic to stop pops
Headphones: Audio Technica ATH-AD900
Keyboard : FILCO CHERRY BLUE.. i love the clicks.. :P
Mouse: Razer Deathadder
Mousepad: Razer goliathus control edition.
No headset. but i do use my ajays-4 earphones sometimes..
Using a Razer Blackwidow, Razer Mamba and a steelseries tychus findlay mouse mat as I ruined my exactmat
Switch between my Plantronics 777 when im using ventrilo and Sony MDR-xb300 (for when im playing music as well).
Also, this is my 2nd mamba (warranty swapped first one due to tracking problems) and this one has a nasty squeak in mouse button 1. So not sure if I would recommend it unless you really need a wireless gaming mouse.
Mouse: Razer DeathAdder - Superb mouse, I highly recommended it for anyone looking for a new mouse
Keyboard: Microsoft Sidewinder x6 - An okay keyboard, still feels pretty solid after nearly a year of use.
Mousepad: Razer Sphex - I'm looking for a new one, any ideas?
Mouse: Razer Deathadder. (Had, g9x, g5, intellimouse 3.0)
Keyboard: Filco Cherry Brown (Had, G15, x4, lycosa and some cheap logitech one)
Mousepad: Razer Goliathus Control Edition (Had, Razer Destructor)
Headphones: Sennheiser HD555 (Might be saving up for HD 650)
Soundcard: Asus Xonar STX (Might be saving up for a good quality amp)
