I am please to announce the fray Academy team! But firstly I would like to thank all of the applicants for their interest in our team, we received a massive amount of responses, with over 50 applications! Each and every one of the applicants were talented, passionate and #dedicated players. I wish each of them the very best for in their development with StarCraft 2 and have high hopes for our domestic scene with these up-coming players.
However, it gives me great pleasure to announce the academy players. These players, I hope, will develop as local talent and be recognised for bridging the gap between their current position and be ranked amongst the top of the SEA scene. With a good amount of #dedication and perseverance they will achieve positions on the fray main team or with one of the other top tier teams within SEA.
- fraya`Redemption
Edmond 'Redemption' Lam is a Melbourne based Terran player that has slowly been growing in the SEA scene. A connoisseur of TvZ with the #dedication to develop as a top Terran in SEA.
- fraya`Kreamy
Kevin 'Kreamy' Luangkhoth an Adelaide based player that has been giving the top SEA players headaches for some time will hope to make it much more of a migraine as he develops as the next SEA Terran hope.
- fraya`Mystic
Corey 'Mystic' Schnedl, Also known as 'That American Schnitzel' is a Terran player who's held a spot in North American Grand Master ladder. While not a SEAtizen, he has followed our scene closely and sees the SEA scene as a friendly place for him to develop as a player. We wish him the best developing with our Academy team and believe he brings extra depth to the academy roster.
- fraya`Alopex
Johhny 'Alopex' Yang has been a long term member of the talented Sydney StarCraft 2 scene. With the talent in the Sydney Area, Alopex has mostly flown under the radar in terms of notoriety, however his skill and talent has given him a spot among NA Grand Master ladder for numerous seasons. He hopes that fray can give him the extra boost of motivation to rank with the top SEA players.
- fraya`Eros
Lindsay 'Eros' Roos is an up-coming Zerg player from the Brisbane scene. With some upset performance at ACL Open bracket and occasionally taking games of the top players in the SEA scene, Eros plans to develop as a player to make those occasional games a common theme!
fraya`Alpha
Alistair 'Alpha' McDowall is a stalwart of the Brisbane competitive SC2 Scene. With numerous top three results in local Brisbane tournaments, he hopes to move up the ranks from 3rd/4th finishes to taking out local and national tournaments! As a rare breed in SEA (Protoss!?) Alpha will provide the Academy with Protoss views and help with developing and refining builds and strategies of the Academy to boost their skill towards the top of SEA.
Congratulations to all the players in the academy! Such a great opportunity to work with a great bunch of people and further enhance their skills to become the next SEA hopes!
On a side note, although I am sad to see him leave, I would like to personally congratulate Kreamy on making it in the academy! Being one of the original members of Ecko Esports, Kreamy has become more of a brother to me than a player, and we will all miss his ragequits over protoss and YooAra comments dearly!
Much love buddy and the rest of the academy players

"and we'll invest more on Bots, as our first Trial bot, the 'NemBotElie' was a huge success, organising tournaments and being part of the Council of mGG. But there are a few bugs in which the bot cannot go past the skill level of a Platinum Protoss." - PaRAnorMaL
