Admins
The head administrator is myself, deL, and all queries regarding rules may be directed to me via PM or otherwise. Other admins may be recruited to assist when I am unavailable. The duties of an admin include the smooth running of the tournament, adequate coverage of the event and notification of the players and managers, and if unavoidable enforcing the rules of the tournament fairly. Their word is final and can only be overturned where there is sufficient evidence that logic has not prevailed!
Maps
The maps will be chosen on a weekly basis and announced with the thread for that week of competition. As all matches are Bo1 there are no vetos or loser-picks systems required.
Start Time
The rounds will begin at 6PM AEST on the Sunday.
Round-Robin
During the round robin stage each team will play each other exactly once. The full schedule of fixtures can be found below. A team's record will be measured by ladder points, which are calculated in the following manner:
Win: +4 points
Loss: 0 points
Forfeit: -2 points
Bonus points can also be achieved by winning or losing teams in the following manner, with points being added to the total ladder points for comprehensive victories or narrow defeats:
Bonus point win: +2 points (win with a 4-0 score or equivalent)
Bonus point loss: +1 point (lose in the ace match)
Ladder rankings will be rated on the following stats (in order):
Total ladder points
Matches for/against
Games for/against
Least number of forfeits
Most bonus point wins
Least number of no-shows
Most bonus point losses
Playoffs
All teams will be involved in the playoffs through the use of a 'preliminary final' which occurs before the semi-final. This will involve the bottom four seeded teams playing off for the right to play one of the top two teams in the semi-finals. Seed #3 will play seed #6 and #4 will play #5 in the preliminary finals.
The highest seeded winner from the preliminary finals will go on to play the #2 seed in semi-final one, and the #1 seed will play the lowest seeded winner from the preliminaries. These will act as regular semi-finals and seeding will no longer be considered, as the two winners from this stage play off in the grand final. The playoffs will carry the exact same format as the round robin stage, and no additional games will be included.
Captains
It's the captain's duty to submit full lineups to myself, record scores and results where required, and send replays if requested.
Misc Rules
To even the playing field, the A-Teams for New South Wales and Queensland will not be permitted to use the exact same lineup (of four starting players, not including ace) twice in the same season during the round robin stage. During the playoff stage this rule is "reset", but again for the duration of the possible 3 matches in the playoffs they may not use two identical lineups.

Misc Rules
The usual rules concerning game abuse, cheating, hacking, or smurfing apply, and in addition excessive "BM" or unsportsmanlike/abusive behavious will not be tolerated. Some "sledging" and friendly banter is expected but personal attacks, targetting of individuals or racist/sexist remarks will not be allowed.
Pausing is allowed but in the absence of an admin/referee the player who prompted the pause must unpause after a response from their opponent. Excessive pausing or pause time without reason may result in a forfeit. A pause will be allowed for a player to fix excessive lag.
Disconnects before the opponent has been scouted will be replayed immediately. Disconnects occurring after scouting will result in a rematch on a map of the non offending parties choice, unless the game was deemed "over" by an admin.
Punctuality is expected. The first week there is a little more leeway as players have not had a chance to get in to a habit of turning up to the event and have had less notice. 20 minutes will be the maximum accepted time for latecomers before a walkover is awarded.
Rescheduling of games is allowed only under exceptional circumstances with an admin's permission and prior notice.
More detailed rules will be provided later if required.
The $650 cash prize will be distributed evently among the wining team members unless pre-arranged otherwise. Currently there are no prizes for podium places other than first, or the B-Team competition.
