2 base immortal/sentry all in is pretty good. Or you could go for a 6 gate all in. Or a 4 gate pressure and take a 3rd behind it. Or if you feel you've got pretty good micro, you could go for a blink stalker build. These are some of the usual things I see on ladder, basically just refine em one at a time until you have them really down-pat. You should be able to find build orders around and tutorials on how to execute the strats properly. I'm just a zerg, so I don't actually do these strats, I just die to em.
Open standard FFE but instead of making 1 gate make 2 and make 5 zealots and hit with +1. Some greedy zergs will lose drones, queens and their 3rd. Transition into dobuel stargate opening with 2 voids (to kill the hatch if u havent, or kill the new hatch) but wait for 4 pheonix to back them up first. Transition into double robo mass collosus immortal push with sentries +1+1 and all that jazz (2 base).

learn 3 base builds instead of relying on zerg forgetting to scout - especially with pathfinder overlords :P
with the exception of sentry immortal all in I'm not scared of any 2 base protoss play. Whenever I do lose to one its cause I didn't scout properly or didn't respond to what I scouted.
But you get a third base up and secured...

EDIT: removed slurs (sorry Meatex) Why would you let a zerg get away with poor scouting when you can crush them for it? That's like saying a zerg player shouldn't make broodslords because the protoss doesn't have antiair. The other day I saw you lose to Novato's immortal stalker +4 sentry timing which isn't even normal immortal sentry and you stil lost so I'm actually quite surprised you havent lost to any other builds (no offense).

grim mate
are the personal attacks and willfully misunderstanding what I say really necessary?
You even quoted this section and yet failed to notice
Please grow up and if you want to attempt to take cheap stabs at me take it to pms
Maybe it was because I was a bit critical you taking cheap shots at my race in the GPD (although I am not sure whether or not you were trolling) but I felt like I understood your post well. I just felt like you scouted the player Novato well and still failed to counter correctly but I am very sorry for the unnecessary use of slurs on my part and didn't mean to cheap shot you.
Sorry meatex.
The thing with PvZ is... I can tell you what strategy I am going before each game, and probably still beat you because well I'm Protoss and my attacks revolve around my execution. If I execute perfectly, doesn't matter how much knowledge you have, you dead.
Higher level Zergs are better at making Protoss make mistakes during their executions, and usually have more units than their less experienced Zerg fellows. Don't underestimate Protoss, they will beat you and make you ask "What can I do? This race should not even exist".
As for strategies - 2 Base strategies revolve around being very aggressive, 3 Base strategies revolve around being a defensive stewart and not taking enough damage to have the ability to hurt the Zerg before T3. In PvT 3 Basing is definitely the superior direction because Terran late game cannot matchup to Protoss late game. I cannot say the same for Zerg's scary late game though. If you play well aggressively like MC, go for them 2 base attacks, if you can cover all your angles on 3/4 bases like HasuObs, you can do that too.
