Couldn't find a thread anywhere so thought I'd just make one. Post a pic of your awesome or not-so-awesome desk / setup / gaming or whatever else setup. :-)
I'll start it off by posting couple of my old pics:
My desk last year. I don't really use that keyboard anymore though. (Using filco majestouch now - check second pic).
Do it with the cat. I'd take a pic, but I have no camera I will describe it to you:
iMac, half eaten pizza thats ~2 days old, crumbs, headset, lots of papers scrunched up and ripped, a shitty keyboard and an even shittier mouse, a broken printer that's used to keep books on, pamphlets from Uni, and a Creme Egg.
My gaming setup wins.
Here is my setup - i bought my own house, so i decided i was gonna set my living room up the way i wanted. HDMI hook up to the TV, massive lounges, basically, life is fantastic. Also that is me holding my little dog (jaehne - pronounced "yanni"). it is a little messy as the gf had just got home from being away for a few days, and had left me to my own devices (the PC and tv) (see what i did thur)...

32' Full HD LCD TV - had to hook it up to my pute after my monitor died. Subwoofer is under the desk. Supposed to be 5.1 surround but I don't have anywhere to set up the rear speakers. I wish you could see my cursor, it's a blue handled katana with a little green hand holding it I made it mahself

I'll have to one up you on that one baha.
The LANs we have in a mate's shed a few times a year, fits about 25ish people. Fun nights.
It was like, halfway through summer, hence the multitudes of fans.

Did everybody bring their own comp? Surely he doesn't own 25 rigs? That's pretty sick.
Yeah, everyone brings their own stuff around and we just play whatever games we feel like. LAN 24 player CSS is quite fun :P
Hah reminds me of year 12.
We had COD1 and installed it on all 12 of our designated computers in our Year 12 common room. It was a small enough file it slipped through the "game filter".
So almost every lunch time it would just be a 12 player COD LAN and people raged because they wanted to do work.
So IT department deleted the files from everybodys computer.
So we reinstalled it onto the C: drive as it couldn't be deleted.
So IT wrote a macro which was something like "when cod1.exe is opened, delete file".
So we reinstalled it onto the C: drive and each time we went to play it we renamed it to a random assortment of numbers and letters.
(by now we were in term 3 with our LANs starting late term 1)
So IT would periodically come into the common room and visually see us playing and temp ban us from computers.
So we had a system where one person would be on watch for teachers with a walkie talkie and would alert us so we would turn it off and open up work.
So IT caught onto this and spent over $10,000 on a system which could see the screens of students.

We finished year 12 3 weeks later...
GG IT department.
That is actually hilarious baha. I'm in year 12 at the moment, and our IT department gave years 7-10 Macbooks as personal computers, and year 11 and 12 the old shitty HPs they used. They monitor the macs, but don't monitor the HP's as much, so we just deleted the software off the laptop that they use to check up on us, and LAN warcraft 3 a lot haha.
I remember pretty much last year, when everyone had RE at the same time, we'd have a half life two deathmatch server with like 20-30 people on it.
EchoFive, your not alone . I'm gonna switch out the Qck Sc2 edition for the Team Liquid Razer mouse pad :3. Also partly because it's a QcK mini and it's kinda small
It's been cleaned up a bit since the photo, new tower / computer etc but gives the idea Silver box on the right is a home theatre amp with bookshelf speakers behind the screens for audio. Steelseries 7G now and Logitech G9X mouse on the desk.
Edit: Rep response - Yeah it's got eyefinity capability, but honestly I rarely use it as I find having 3 independent monitors more useful in terms of dragging different window's around etc. Can have something like GSL on one screen, Aussie stream / steam chat on another and SC2 in the centre.

I'm not really a fan of Logitech speakers. The last set I had didn't really have good quality and they ended up dying in a year or so :\. I feel like people buy them just because they're cheap, and that's about it. Considering they're the only 5.1 system at that price point I can see why people buy them, though.
got some new gear so i thought i'd post up a new picture, i think mayo will be particularly happy with this one! unfortunately my iphone camera doesnt pick it up so well, but you get the idea
Edit - yeah i put a tt esports sticker on my cm storm. the second tt esports brings out a keyboard with TKL and reds/browns ill buy it haha. i dont think thats any time soon though if ever all the other products are fantastic!

Edit:: I just realised how annoying it looks (even though im used to two different sized screens) So i went on-line and just bought myself another ACER (right monitor)
You'll have to forgive the image quality... I took the picture with my phone <.<
This is how i wanted my mic to be set up, but i couldn't do it due to space so i had to buy a desk stand. Very good investment if you don't want a giant stand going through your monitors.
yeah doble they're awesome headsets! and compressors are a godsend for quiet people. i could not hear zepph when i was sitting next to her with my headphones off, but could hear her so clearly with them on :P.
YELL ZEPPH YELL!
Well I haven't been on in a while, figured I'd post my new setup as I've moved out with two other friends. We set up our desks next to eachother in a living room sorta area. Works for us.
Yes that is David Duchovny on the wall.
In order of appearance from right to left: Duchovny, Bill Murray and Sam Neil. My friends are strange people.
@DJ
Tyranids aren't nearly as cheesy as splinter cannons.
I thought i would post my personal laptop setup for my work lunch breaks. lunch time laddering ftw!
and yes i have 2 maruader keyboards
Laptop setup for work:
Razer spectre mouse, Razer Marauder Keyboard and Razer Banshee headset
Desktop setup for home:
I now have a razer mamba 2012 wireless mouse, razer chimeara 5.1 wirless headset and a second marauder keyboard so this pic will be updated

Reason: consolidating desktop and laptop pictures
Hey guys,
Heres a pic of my desktop, It's a very old pic (about 6 years old now), and my computers been upgraded, screen, guitar ect ect.
But i actually made this Desk myself custom made to fit my room, guitar, computer and stereo.
It's got a few more dings in it these days, but It's still amazing to use
wasn't that hard to make either
@ the quick comments,
Wood's really easy to work with, and fun too. If anyone's interested i could do a tutorial on how to make something like that, similar to a thread i did a few years ago on another site about a bedside table i did . http://www.modacity.net/forums/showt...aid-of-nething

Desk is very messy at the moment and gets dusty because of the are I live in is like a huge dust ball. Desk is looking like its seen better days, not sure whether to sand it back and stain and varnish it or get a new desk. Generic computer prebuilt, does ok but building my own atm. Also have my Razer Blackwidow Ultimate, Razer Goliathus, Razer Megladon and my brand new Steelseries Sensei I got a couple of weeks ago, loving it at the moment different from my Razer Naga which was my first gaming mouse.
Oh and currently watching through all episodes of Monty Pythons Flying Circus Box set at the moment .

Pretty messy but that is an honest picture, well except I usually have every pixel of those screens filled with browsers and applications. Pic taken from a average handycam, pretty bad quality. Think I will get a third screen or a bigger second, love me some screen real estate.
Notable things from left to right:
Blue Snowball Mic
Seinheiser headphones
iMac, 27 inch, 2.93ghz i7
Razer Blackwidow Ultimate
(top) 6 or so year old logitech speakers
Steel series QCK Mass pad
Razer Deathadder V2
what used to be a primary display from a Dell setup
Fender Mexican Stratocaster
Now bring on the Mac hate, but make it creative. Inb4 "Macs aren't for gaming".

what you can't see in the pic, the sub under the desk (it was making the entire desk vibrate when the bass got pumping :S, and my focusrite amplifier for the mic).
Here's mine. Quite messy my desk. The gaming rig doubles as an office computer.
And a shot of my Mouse and my newly arrived Mousepad:

Oh. And here is the Desk Pic of my Laptop Rig that's in my Bedroom, the rig in Post #107 is outside my Bedroom, so I've got 2 Rigs.
I swear I'm gonna need a more Powerful Laptop like an Aftershock X11 or X15 (nothing too big mind).
If somebody can sponsor a X11/X15 for free lol, then can have a 1v1 LAN at home.
Underside is a DIY Cooler.
And this is not a USB cooler, this is a full-on 230V 2x135mm Fans plugged straight from the wall.
Platform made out of Ballistics Acrylic and bordered with Silver Tape to smoothen edges.
Housing the Cables is a sheet of Steel from my 2005 Desktop Chassis
Fitted with Rubber Feet for reduced vibration.
Add-ons:
120mm Enermax Vegas Red LED USB Fan. (Just arrived today in the Mail, about 20 minutes ago)
Underside of Laptop: DIY Laptop Cooler.
2.0 Channel USB Speakers.
Asus Mouse (which is already failing after almost 2 years use. You can't really see it)

Mouse: Random logitech mouse
Keyboard: The filco that the sc2sea shop used to sell
Monitors: Need to get rid of one or get another 24inch so i can align them all together!! That 22inch sticks out so weirdly but thats basically my sc2sea monitor lol
I just framed up the Roy Lichtenstein Whaam! pop art I got from Vietnam when I was there four years ago and hung it today. So I thought I should show of my office/gaming den/man cave now that is has a bit of colour to it
My computer set up; pic is three months old but basically the entire layout is exactly the same anyway and this is the cleanest shot I have of it.
Mouse: Steelseries KANA set to 1600 dpi.
Keyboard: Razer Blackwidow Expert with Cherry Blue noisy switches clackity clack.
Screen: 24inch ASUS VS248H.
Case: CMStorm Enforcer; sits on a JBL sub that isn't being used.
Headset: Roccat Kave 5.1CH Audio; it's amazing in my opinion but it's heavy.
Speakers: Logitech X540 (or 530, I forgot).
Webcam: Some Logitech camera that's like 4 years old.
And yes that's a Yu-Gi-Oh dueling mat under my keyboard.
T_T downgraded to a Mac :/ at least I can still play Dota2 ~!
That's a Starcraft QcK Mini with a Starcraft Spectre, so much SC2 branded gear .
My Blackwidow is currently at the paint shop getting a nice matte yellow coat

Here is mine!
Xbox and mac share the same screen, just switch when i want to.
Some stuff inside the mic.
Macbook pro, standard tv monitor, alesis usb sound mixer, audio technica AT2020, xbox 360
everything else should be easily recognizable ^^
I've had this set up for just over a year now, put everything together myself, not buying any of that prebuilt overpriced rubbish haha. so far loving it! going to be looking at some upgrades later this year if the new 700 series nvidia's get announced
On the surface, my ever trusty Deathadder, a second-hand Corsair K60 keyboard, plus a couple of monitors - 24" and 21.5", extremely handy for multitasking and streaming. Tweetdeck rarely ever leaves that screen.
My first mic I've ever bought - RODE Podcaster - is always at the ready!
What you don't see...
That oh so shameful cable management behind the desk...
Did some updates to my gaming rig layout and swapped out the ViewSonic SP2014V 2.1 Speakers and the LG Flatron W2252TQ Monitor which I both placed in my New Bedroom Rig and replaced with Sonic Gear EVO 9 and Philips 222 EL HD 1080p Monitor.
Gaming Rig Update:
Specs: Core i5 2500K, 16GB RAM, 1.25TB HDD, GTX 680.
Philips 222 EL 21.5' Monitor FULL HD
SonicGear EVO 9
To Arrive Soon: Rosewill 9000 RE Red-Switch Keyboard
NEW Bedroom Rig
Specs of this rig
AFTERSHOCK X11 Notebook: Core i7 3630QM, 8GB RAM, Samsung 840 250GB, nVidia GeForce GT 650M.
LG W2252TQ Monitor
ViewSonic SP2014V 2.1 Speakers
Armaggeddon Aquila-X Mouse (To be replaced with Mass Luminosity Mouse I pre-ordered)
SteelSeries QcK MINI Diablo 3 / Asus
Mistral 16' Fan
As you can probably tell, my rig outside my bedroom is Cramped with the EVO 9 and I'm using the Same Keyboard for both rigs for now till my Rosewill Red-Switch Keyboard arrives from Amazon later.

GRAPHIC CARD: MSI R7850 Twin Frozr III 2GD5 OC edition
POWER SUPPLY: Seasonic X-SERIES 650W GOLD (80 PLUS GOLD)
HARD DISK: WD Caviar Blue 1TB SATA / 64MB Cache (WD10EZEX)
OPTICAL DRIVE:Samsung DVD Writer Super WriteMaster 24X SATA (SH-224)
SSD: Crucial M4 2.5" 128GB SSD
Total cost: 1250 SGD
Screens: An Acer 23inch for 199 SGD (loving it so far), the other two are old monitors from computers I had long ago, they still work pretty nicely.
I have some super old JBL speakers that still work great.
To the left is a 23 inch television for my console uses.
Peripherals:
Mouse: Steelseries Sensei
Keyboard: Razer Blackwiddow ultimate 2012
Mouse bungee: Roccat Apuri (Was a bit skeptical at first about this mouse bungee but so far its been amazing)
Mouse pad: Razer Goliathus control edition medium sized
Headset: Astro A40 non-pc edition
Microphone set up: Audio technica AT2020 condenser microphone XLR version attached to a Alesis USB 4 channel sound mixer
Console recording/streaming: Happauge HDPVR (1st version), Xbox 360 (will be getting a next gen console for Destiny the game!).
The mixer is for the audio of the console to be mixed in with my voice from the condenser mic so i am able to do live commentaries as i play without needing to sync the voice manually.
Console volume and communication: My Astro A40s and a Astro wireless 5.8 mix amp.
Planning to switch keyboard sometime in the end of the year. Probably a filco. Next year probably will get some lights into the desktop, add a SLI configuration and an 4th gen i7. See how that goes.
Cheers!

My general table with rig. its a tad dark. The surface of the table is a glossy finish so the keyboard slides around slightly which is a bit of a pain.
My MLG viewing seat. was suprised how well the stream fitted and kept its quality to the size of the tv!
nice spotting! They are awards for when i entered my car in an SPL drag at the gold coast car show (a few yrs back), one is "Best SPL show car" and the other is an encouragement award.
Update: Some time ago I got a new desk + shelf combo at IKEA for like 89 bucks (FTW). Just about my entire room's layout got changed, and I also got rid of the couch that was making my room so badly cramped. Since this thread got recently active I figured I should put an update on how my desk is going as well (and sorry if the post takes up a ton of space).
This is basically the new layout on this side of my room (where the couch used to be). My bed's on the other side.
Closer view of my desk. The tower's on the floor on the side below the mouse. I have mainly the same stuff, except I now have a Leopold FC700R Mechanical Keyboard with CherryMX Brown switches instead of the Razer Blackwidow (I gave it to my brother since he needed a new keyboard). The Razer was too noisy at night considering my parents' room is next to mine, so I had to get something quieter. Oh, and that is a 2L bottle of Port on the right, gonna take me a while to drink all of that..
Shelf contents!
2nd lowest shelf; the lowest one just has a couple of hats and a box.
2nd top shelf; I put my games on this shelf, a couple of signed K-Pop albums (the f(x) one isn't signed though) and Pokemon Crystal and Yellow along with a DS and GBASP.
Top shelf; Heart of the Swarm collector's edition awwww yea! A couple of K-Pop albums and a rare Initial D scale car collection (I heard there's only about a thousand sets of them made at most).
Above the shelf is a Playstation, Arizona Tea cans and bottles, a Space Shuttle toy (I'm sort of an Astronut) and a Nerf gun.
