I am curious, in your opinion ...

1) How much time does one spent on SC2 on average - daily/weekly? How much time spent on SC2 is considered a lot and how much is regarded as spending too little?

2) Is time spent on SC2 considered as just laddering? Or does it include custom games, watching VODs and streams, reading and studying builds etc?

I'm curious because when someone says : I spend 2 hours laddering sc2 everyday. One person's perspective could be, wow that is a lot. Another person could be nah its standard OR another person could say, I do it 6 hours a day. What if someone laddered 2 hours a day, watched streams/VODs for 1-2 hours a day, takes part in tournaments every other day?

So I would like to hear your opinion on what YOU THINK is a typical time spent that is considered average or what you would consider as, yeah that's ok. AND what you think would be considered, WOW that is a lot of time spent on sc2.

If you are unsure, go ahead and just share on average how much time you think you are spending on sc2 (whether splitting it as actually playing and/or including watching streams/vods/reading up on builds etc).

This is my average. I'd agree that anything to do with getting involved with the game (customs, ladder, studying / reading builds) is counted into the time spent on SC2. For me, streams don't count as I only watch them for entertainment purposes, seldom for learning purposes. Then again I'm just a casual

When i used to play at my top form, or in general was only about 1 - 3 hours a day max sometimes i didnt even play any games a day and some days i played alot, but my regular hours were about 1 - 3 hours a day played

1) i generally count in games, used to be 30 now its quicker but about 10ish when i play.

2) id count customs and team games as playing cos you are still using mechanics id say watching a stream is watching a stream and classify it under a different catergory

Doing anything SC2 related is counted as spending time on SC2; watching, reading, discussing, or playing. How productive that time is being used is a different story. For example, someone studying a VOD (builds, timings, benchmarks, army movements, scouting, reactions, etc) is much more productive than someone just watching one for fun, or someone discussing actual strategies etc is much more productivethan just talking about random SC2 stuff, obviously.
