As a Protoss I can sometimes find it quite hard to come up against a quick rush of the likes of a Terran Reactor build or a Zerg Rush. So far the only way I have been able to slow down the rush so far is to force field my ramp with a sentry.

Does any other Protoss players know of some good ways to protect myself? Other then chrono-boosting out stalkers and such, and the obvious scouting!

In Protoss vs Terran it does depend a lot on how you're being attacked but generally having good awareness through stalker usage and having a Mothership Core for Photon overcharge deals with most regular attacks.

If it's an 11/11 then it depends on your build order and if you probe scout/when you see things. Chronoing your gateway and throwing probes at him is the solution.

If it's a dropship based attack then you need 3-5 stalkers to clean it up and an obs if he has mines. Plus the mocore. Remember that stalkers are ok units but require good microing against marines for full effect.

This works with Zerg, as they USUALLY send Zerglings.
DO NOT spend the starting 50 mins for a Probe.
@100 mins - Pylon
@150 mins - Forge
- When it's in progress, make 2 or 3 Probes, Chrono Boost.
@ Forge complete, build 1 or 2 Photon Cannons overlooking key areas around your base.

The rest is up to you.

Don't do this. Ever.
Even if you knew they were drone rushing or 6 pooling it would be bad.
