Yeah the "IN" thing nowadays is HOTS and there is no reason it should not be.

But maybe somehow there is some system to seperate which posts refer to HOTS and which refer to WOL?

or maybe tourneys should state that their format is HOTs or WOL.

I think there are still many players who have not got HOTS yet or not planning to but are still frequent forum roamers so maybe some kind of Mark or sepereate section for WOL would be cool for those people like myself? I dont know its just a suggestion.

p.s. looking for WOL friendly clan

I believe all tournaments at this stage are using HOTS. Most players are already playing HOTS and discussions on strats etc are mostly HOTS related rather than WOL.

It might be hard to find a clan whose members are only WOL players at this point of time though good luck with that

However it might be that in every clan, there are a few players who might not had gotten HOTS yet.

I know there are some guys who hang out in our general metaGameGods chat channel who do not have HOTS at this point of time. You might be able to find like-minded people from there who do not have HOTS but WOL. They will usually ask for practices in WOL so that you will know they do not have HOTS yet.

A better idea would be to buy hots and join all the cool people.

I don't see why anyone would compete in WoL anymore. Dead game.

There won't be any WOL tourneys so don't really need to mention which expansion level a tourney is.

Join the swarm. You won't get any tournies with WoL anymore.

Only reason I'd ever go on WoL these days is if I'm having a bad time on HotS but want to keep practising SC2 in general.

I still play WoL for 2v2 random. and seem to be alot better at it than HotS... or maybe my team mate carries me????
