My name is Adam Gray, I have been managing teams in the e Sports industry for about 3 years now, I come from a FPS background and have managed organisations called TeamREFIANCE, and most recently Auxiliary which also had a Starcraft Division. I am doing a little bit of work with Qlimax Crew at the moment but that is just a bit of a helping out job when ever they need. The reason for this thread is that I have been involved with the Sc2 scene for about 6 months now and I see a big future in the game for Australian professionals and would like to give an opportunity for a player to go all the way. The offer that I am putting forward is to take a player under my belt and manage them. This involves getting sponsors for the player, motivate the player to train by offering certain intensives, helping the player get around the country (and maybe the world) for LAN tournaments.
There are more offers that I have which I will discuss in a more private environment with the keen players.
What I am looking for:
Grand master on Sea/Na or at least Masters on Korean.
I would really love to work with a Terran or Protoss player. But Zerg is fine.
Able to train at least 3 hours a day.
Streaming ability would be great for sponsorship exposure and getting your own name out there.
Basically my goal for the next year or two is to be overseas at a major championship. I think that If you join forces with me, we can achieve that.
If you would like to contact me to talk about further offers and if you have any questions, give me an add on Skype

Let's not go down this road again - enough people have already been driven away in similar situations. He has posted his contact details, people are free to add the OP and ask for relevant information.

It's not like its hard for him to post his experience in the OP. Saves him from individually telling people over and over and will make the OP better.
I think proof of your experience would make this thread go a lot further.
Oh sorry, I come from a FPS background and managed organisations called TeamREFIANCE, and most recently Auxiliary which also had a Starcraft Division. I am doing a little bit of work with Qlimax Crew at the moment but that is just a bit of a helping out job when ever they need.
I'll be a bit more constructive with the concerns, Turkle.
1) detailed information about your experience is needed if your going to gain someone's trust. What have your involvements with the aforementioned teams involved?
2) How do you plan on gaining sponsorships or fund domestic and international travel? - do you have connections with sponsors? Do you have deep pockets yourself?
3) What kind of incentives can you offer (quantify them)?
From your posts, it appears that you are talking about serious business here. And you know what people like when it comes to this kind of thing? Proofs. Especially on the internet. I hope you understand, its not that we think you are criminal of any sort, but I guess everyone wants to play safe. Unfortunately you aren't providing enough to let us feel secured.
As I stated in my original post, interested players can contact me regarding more about what I can offer. You of all people should know that chadman. Sometimes information about these things shouldn't be made public.
No need to be snippy mate. The reality is that our community is 90% trust based and believe me we have been screwed over, lied to, messed around, trolled and the rest so if you think people wanting you to back up your claims of "managing teams in the eSports industry for about 3 years" or your ability to land sponsorship don't take it to heart, provide the information and there is no issue.
This is a forum. People are allowed to question and ask for proof or evidence of claims, we should always be questioning and making sure what is being said is actually correct. There are a hell of a lot of young people on this forum who have or will be taken for a ride by false promises because they are naive and think that because you promise them the world you will deliver. Don't attack other managers and those who work hard or make snide remarks because in the end it just makes you look like a dick.
I hope everything does go well for you and the community! Its good for players to have the opportunity like this and the more the merrier. Of course I do agree with the others that we have had our share of farces, however you have taken the feedback from others and updated appropriately.
I cant wait too see what players have to look forward to!
Yeah thats fine Turkle.. I'm not sure what you mean by keeping things secret, I'd still like to see more info on your history. What did you do at Refiance etc?...
I understand you wanting to keep your sponsor contacts under wraps, but the fact that you're not confident revealing them suggests you're far from landing them. I don't want to burst your bubble, but the eSports scene isn't as easy as > Get Player > Get sponsors > ??? > Profit!...
I am neither your target market nor your peer, so please take this as friendly, unbiased advice.
Get yourself a website
Put together a quick bio
Describe what you're offering
List all the organisations you've worked for
There is a big difference between offering someone your services, and someone approaching you. The former can make people naturally suspicious.
Unless you're careful with your tone, it may come off as a sales pitch, which implies that we may not want or need what you're offering - which of course isn't the case here.
Understand that this is a community of intelligent folks familiar with the interwebs, and all the associated scams and bullshit that periodically float around, and people are entitled to be suspicious.
It's your job to assure us what you're offering is genuine, not ours to take your offer on faith.
Keep doing your thing man.

What exactly were your duties in qmx and auxiliary?
Some of my good friends of 10+ years are on both of those teams and they seem completely unsure of what you do/who you are?
Perhaps you could enlighten us as to your duties and experience? For example;
1. Is taking the full responsibilities of a team a new thing, or were you doing 100% of the management duties?
2. How have you worked with sponsors in the past to achieve results, do you have any examples of that?
3. Your goals are quite lofty (on the level of Nv, iM); have you mapped out a business plan to achieve them? You're likely going to need to acquire $4000+ for just a single player+manager combo to go anywhere of note, ON TOP of your internal Australia costs and overheads like uniforms, travel, accommodation, peripherals (or even salary) etc
