The final Wings of Liberty GSL season is already underway and Silicon Sports will be bringing the finals to you live from Seoul Korea with BarCraft Melbourne, our first major event for 2013!

This is going to be a huge weekend for StarCraft 2 in Melbourne. We have BarCraft first up and then the much awaited launch party on Monday night for Heart of the Swarm I can't think of a better way to kick it off other than getting down to the Exchange and celebrating at BarCraft Melbourne!!!

Bring your friends, family, work mates - even if they don't know a thing about StarCraft or gaming for that matter - tell everyone, even that stranger you pass on the street!

You can expect all the usual awesomeness that is BarCraft Melbourne:

Great atmosphere, prize give-aways from Tt eSports, heaps of screens, great food and drinks specials from The Exchange Hotel and the Silicon Sports Store where you can get some munchies and upgrade your gaming gear!

Profits from the store and the donation box go into the prize pool for our tournaments as well as helping us run these events.

The semi finals will most likely be shown before the finals start.

InfeZa, Flamga & Baldie have confirmed their attendance. We are still waiting to hear if mOOnGLaDe, Deth, Yang and PiG will be in Melbourne on Saturday.

Not sure where else to post this.

Anyone in the loop know if my friends from another city who preordered the game from EB there can get into the Melb launch event. I thought anyone was welcome, however after preordering my copy at the Swanston St store, I got a receipt that would get me a wristband into the event.

I fully realize that they won't be able to pick up their copy of the game at the event, and that's fine. I just want to know if they can get in at all =/ The website isn't very clear. It says people who preordered from bnet can attend, so surely if they preordered from a different EB store they can get in too, right?

Hey Cute, anyone can attend the event, they get a different wristband -- to pickup your copy of the game from the even it needs to be pre-ordered at any Victorian store and you need to get the staff memember to RSVP your copy of the game for you, before the 10 of march. If they just have standards on order it's super easy -- if they have a Collector's Edition they may need to talk to the manager about transferring the CE to the event as they have now been allocated across stores.
