Hi iam a low level bronze league star craft 2 protoss player trying to get better at the game. I am looking for any one willing to coach. can be trained in either star craft 2 heart of the swarm beta or wings of liberty mainly want to get the basics down and get more advanced from there if any one is interested message me on Skype at gwartney2 thanks.
now that you have your settings right you will notice that in the lower right corner the commands in the command card (you know where attack, hold build basic, basically all your unit commands are) it will now show the corresponding hotkey to press to do that action, you are now never ever allowed to click in there, dosn't matter if it takes you 5 times as long to find the right button on your keyboard. You are to use your keyboard, that is the single most important thing you are to do if you want to get out of bronze, know your hot keys, you will get to the point where you no longer have to look at them, or look what key it is, you will do it automatically, and by doing that there is a good chance you will get silver making just that change!
2nd thing, use unit command groups for your bases, production buildings and army. they are buttons 1-0 hold ctrl + # to set a command group + # to add to group and the # to recall, its up to you how you want to use them but heres my suggestion
1 - Army, all your attacking units besides HT(high Templar)
2 - casters you wont use this yet, but this if for your HT's
3 - you may not use this yet, can be used for what you like, scout, obs your choice
4 - production, your gateways, robo and stargates (press tab to cycle through which type of buildings you have slected)
5 - bases + forges
so, you want to build a probe, now you hit "5" press "e" you no longer click on the nexus, you just recall the command group after you have set it.
once you have all that down and your happy with it learn a basic 1 base build, 3 gate robo, 4 gate or another 1 base build you found somewhere, its your choice (1 base is enough for a bronze player to handle, playing longer games with 2 or more bases wont help you improve much untill you can handle the macro from 1 base, at which point you will be out of bronze.) http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft2/3_Gate_Robo http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft2/4_Warpgate_Rush
This info should be enough for you to make it to silver, to improve beyond silver you will want to keep improving on your mechanical skill, no gaps in worker production, no supply blocks, use all your resources, this is also what you are going to here over and over again from coaches while you are bronze and silver.
once you reach gold the metagame starts to form and is is slightly less about who has the most stuff, you should branch out into a build for each match up and start to learn how the match ups work, but the game will still be for the most part a game of who has the better mechanical skill, so when you lose a game even though you had a better unit composition is probably down to the other player having more.
hope this helps and good luck!!
Edits: typos spelling added stuff ect

I would recommend coaching only after you are above diamond as before that its usually a mechanical issue. Also have a look through our Grandmaster Manual guide which comes with free coaching bundled into it.
There are a decent number of Bronze and Silver players that hang out in the 'mGG' chat channel in wol that are usually looking for practice partners. So might want to check that out.
But yeah for direct tips to improve, great tips from bourkes there and yeah check out the sc2sea Grandmaster Manual
Day[9] is always your best friend at learning starcraft. Go check out his newbie Tuesday videos. Some of them are dedicated to help new players to get into the game. http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL9636F0243659B1D4
+1 for Day 9. He is entertaining and he knows his shit when it comes to Starcraf I'm a big fan of his. http://day9.tv/
Also as mentioned before the Apollo videos are really great as well.
