MMM OWNS gateway units.. especially when he has a decent number of upgrades.. you need to get colossus or HT's out, stimmed MM rips through gateway units.

i dont understand why MULEs havnt been nerfed yet. if you can keep up production with 20 harvesters on technically 1 base against an opponent with 52 and 2 bases... theres a problem

no but when they lose all there harvesters they can still keep up LOTS of production with MULEs... if toss loses all their probes there stuffed. if terran does they can still win

No, they cant keep up with lots of production.. they can support a bit, but MULEs don't = a saturated mineral line.

well in his case it did. he kept up production of 5 raxes with MULES and even day[9] says MULEs are OP.

Doesn't matter, we're talking about why you got owned by by MMM.

1. You didn't have colossus
2. You didn't have HT
3. If you're worried about keeping up with T production.. don't 4 gate, expand
4. Better sentry / FF usage.

Heh.

When i play Terran i usually open VR's when i see a tech lab/marauder, they usually have no idea what to do because they just love their marauders so much.

Protoss is a lot less 'imba' lategame when Terrans know how to multitask and make ghosts.

One big reason. They allow Terran's maximum one-base income to completely outdo the other races. This is really critical when it comes to the power of T one-base allins, because other races fall behind by one-basing in response, but expanding opens a huge timing window. Not only does the P (for instance) expansion have to pay for itself, the income has to be weighed against the inflated T one-base income. This means T can sit on one base for a good ten minutes against 1gate FE and not really be behind in terms of supply or army.

If MULEs couldn't mine over SCVs, or simply made up worker difference without inflating income past max saturation point, a lot of those builds would be significantly less viable.

every race is flexible. terran economy is > then any other. even though zerg is suppose to be higher. but it isnt. MULE's close up the gap to the point where 1 base T vs 1 base P = 1200 income for terran and 900 for protoss. meaning the P needs to expand and/or 1 base aswell. if they one base aswell there economy cant keep p. if they expand the t kills them. 1 base Terran = OP

Terran is the most flexible race, since you can switch buildings to change addons, etc. 1 base terran isn't THAT op, protoss can manage with it. Look at all the high level replays, do you see terrans doing 1base 1base 1base all the time? no. protoss can deal with it, you just cant. "if they expand t kills them" are you even using forcefields?
