Reason: Updated new time
A few questions, that may or may not be relevant this year if the formats changes dramatically!
Q: One of the glaring issues on the stream last year was downtime between matches. What steps will you be taking steps to try reduce downtime or provide more content between games?
Q: Following on, last year there was multiple accounts of people wasting time, using PCs they weren't supposed to, and generally causing games to start really late (even after being warned). What is ACLs thoughts on rules - will you be tightening up your ruleset and cracking down on players, or do you prefer to have a bit of leniency?
Q: I feel like a few times ACL has put the call out there for volunteers or staff, but never really followed up (or it just fizzled out)? Is ACL actually looking for staff? If so, what?
@UHF, I doubt they will see your questions in time mate (if you would like them answered on the show) - however if you tweet it @ACLPro they may answer community questions at the end. If not, I am sure Vanz will answer your questions when he sees them.
ACL would like to welcome Baldie to the SC2 team, and I personally really look forward to working with him and Linc again for 2013. As mentioned in the broadcast I'll start live streaming some showmatches and interviews on a semi-regular basis starring ACL heavyweights from 2012, not to mention casting the first Online Qualifier that will be on February 10th.
So pumped for this year! With everyone's help I have no doubt it'll be a fantastic year for SC2.
@Pandan: should ACL put pressure on the gov to lower fuel costs?
I'm curious to see what sc2sea's feelings are for ACL after 2012.
Smartarse aside; I was talking that (for example) we all know anywhere from 250-400 people will be showing up to the events, and with the power of bulk buying; it is quite possible that LAN event could and perhaps should help facilitate that. Perhaps even including it as pricing into some tickets?
You know LAN is on the decline from first hand experience, the question is asking if ACL had made any plans or even put much thought into it.
